Barack Obama’s nutty mentor and father figure, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, was back at the pulpit again this weekend bashing George W. Bush and the Iraq War.
No wonder Obama liked him so much.

He toned down his rhetoric a bit and refrained from G-Damming AmeriKKKa since he was just visiting the Orlando congregation.
The Orlando Sentinel reported:

Some who attended the anniversary celebration said they appreciated the chance to see Wright in person.

“People could actually see him as the preacher, as opposed to the negative celebrity,” said Adrienne Perry, a member of the church, who found Wright to be a gifted communicator. “I could see why he was the senior pastor for all the years in Chicago.”

Wright’s sermon focused on the protection that God provides, as he shared family stories and Scripture with hundreds of worshippers.

“What you can’t see is you are not alone,” he said. “The struggle didn’t start with you, and the struggle will not end with you.”

The politically minded pastor peppered his preaching with criticism of the Iraq war and President George W. Bush’s handling of foreign policy. He also encouraged the African-American community to embrace its history.

“So many of our young people know so very little about what our older people had to live through,” he said. “Back in the days when black folk couldn’t vote — and now we’ve got black people who won’t vote.”

Wasn’t this flake supposed to be retired?

Wright’s Trinity Church in Chicago should have lost their tax-exempt status when the sermons became public.

Campaigning for your star parishioner (Barack) and deriding his main presidential primary opponent (Hillary) is an example of specific electioneering.

The fact that the baboon made and sold tapes of the stuff (at a profit, I’m sure) furthers the point.

I,m trying very hard to understand how they can claim to be Christian, when Christ name is never mentioned. I do know that “Rev” Wright was a member of Louis Farakhan’s Mosque before striking out on his own.

Maybe this explains the visit to Libya with Farakhan and Obama. these three are thick as thieves.

I wish bg was around because I know she has, or can find that picture of Obama removing his shoes to pray during White House dinner celebrating Ramadon. Funny how he can’t put his hand on his heart during Nat. Anthem or find a church to attend in Washington, but can find time to pray to allah.

Does anyone find it kind of unusual that they don’t celebrate Christmas, no presents for the kids, no church services?

What type of Christian church invites a hater like Farrakhan to stand in the sanctuary and receive an award?

One of those vulgar tapes was dated 25 December, the day Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus. Can you imagine sitting in a church on Christmas morning listening to what Bill Clinton did with Monica Lewinsky?

The church was packed, and obviously none of the people in it understood what Christmas or Christ is all about.

Racism, politics, and hate = Rev. Wright’s ministry.

PS-jainphx–Agent 99 posted Obama at the mosque on another thread here today.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright (retired) got bored in his 5 million dollar mansion in the gated white community he lives in, that’s why he is spreading his hate throughout America.

Obama wishes his name not be mentioned in the same sentence with rev. white because it might hurt his chances for reelection.

Wright is nothing more than a black Nazi. He preaches hatred and far-flung conspiracy theories just as the Nazis did. His claims of the US creating AIDS and spreading it in Africa to knowingly kill off the ‘black’ population is no different than Nazi claims that the Jews were on a mission to ‘destroy the Aryan state’ via dominating every other nation’s leadership.

Also like the Nazis, he seeks to grossly pervert Christianity in order to spread his ‘message’ in a more subtle way. Hitler tried to pervert Christianity in Germany along Nazi lines to support his racial idioligy, however he ultimatly failed in that goal, though his arresting and executing of pastors and priests who refused to obey him succeeding in decapitating the church leadership, especially the Protestants–hence why half the population of that country is either agnostic, non-religious or atheist today compared with under 5% in 1930.

I am willing to bet that virtually none of the people who either hear Wright’s sermons outright or even support him are Christian–they merely use that label for political reasons, just as Hitler did, though they may be as hostile to it in private as Hitler was. Instead they are driven by hatred–that is all they know and all they understand.

Didn’t the Rev give his ‘God damn America’ rant before Bush sent a single soldier to Iraq?

But we must heap praise on the Rev for not cursing during a sermon in another pastor’s church. A true man of God. Praise the Lord. Alleluia.

Wright is a believer in Black Liberation Theology. They believe God is black and they say they will reject Him if He does not put blacks’ concerns before whites’ concerns. Also, I read a poster some time ago who called up the receptionist at Wright’s church and asked if muslims were members there and she replied that muslims were welcome and several of their members were muslim. What kind of Christian church is this? And was one of these muslim members Barack Obama?

Even Church goers will get tired of papa Rev. Wacko spewing Iraq rhetoric into this next decade. It is time to move on — Bush created the universe for all Rev. Wacko believes!

Adrienne… Honey, gifted communicators are a dime a dozen. You sound like a child at Christmas enamored with the ribbons & wraps, rather than the racist hatred the wraps cover. Every petty tyrant that’s walked the face of this earth has had some ‘gift’ of communication – followed by a herd of deceived sheep. America is right now waking up to it’s own ‘gifted communicator’.

Pimps and Pedophiles also have this ‘gift’, but it’s called ‘grooming’ their victims – right before they rape and sell them. Look in the box sweetie.

unless something has changed, turkey is the only islamic country that will let non-muslims in to the mosques. i went there [mainly istanbul] in the early 70’s and saw the blue mosque in istanbul and the green mosque in basra. also saw haig sophia in istanbul. being a typical tourist i had the caretaker chasing me

It is worth your time to “google” Black Liberation Theology and read about it. It is a cult and not a Christian faith. Once I learned what Obama’s so called “religion” actually taught him all those years, I knew we were in for big trouble in this country. Yes, they teach God is black and those who don’t believe that are deceived and do not know the truth according to the promoter of the group and it’s main teacher, James Cole, who teaches this abomination at some seminary to this very day. They are also marxists. God help us survive these next 3 years.

Obama’s religion is NOT islam. It is the religion of socialism. He does not believe in a higher being. He is self absorbed. This is why he is so disliked, now he is being himself, true LIBS cannot let you see who they really are till they have power. How’s that HOAX and CHAINS working out for you Amerika. powder is dry.
