Obama spoke to 6th Graders in Falls Church, Virginia on Tuesday January 19, 2010.

He brought his TelePrompter.

He sure wouldn’t want to go off message when speaking to 6th graders.

How sad.

UPDATE: HotAirPundit says the TelePrompters were set up in the classroom for the press not the kids.

On closer examination of these photos:
    http://www.daylife.com/search?q=obama+Graham+falls+church

Obama appears to be in two rooms… the floor coverings are different. One has cream tile and stools, the other has blue carpet and the podium with teleprompters — which is kind of suspicious EXCEPT the chalkboards have totally different designs on them, plus the globes and USA flags are in different places in the two rooms. Looks real, he just visited two rooms, one of which had a podium and teleprompter.

This is so spooky to me; aside from the fact he has no public speaking skills. (Maybe he should attend Toastmasters Club)

To make it short; the False Prophet:

Rev 13: 15 He (False Prophet) was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak…..

Rev 13: 1 (The Beast) He had 10 horns and seven heads with ten crowns on his horns….(probably a coalition of countries, during the 7 year tribulaton, joined together that derives their power from Satan.)

Gets really complex and tons of study.

I can’t imagine either of those rooms were big enough to warrant three speakers and when you are addressing young kids, do you really need a podium?

And let’s remember that being president is not an easy job and no matter your political persuasion, the office deserves our utmost respect and especially our deference to his decisions given that we can’t all be privy to the volume of information the president deals with every day.

Obama was speaking to a group of adults using the teleprompter to deliver a 5-minute speech. There is a Youtube video where he points to the audience and comments about how cute they look in the little chairs. The teleprompter is clearly visible as he walks into the room.

On the same trip, Obama and the Sec. of Education chatted with a group of 6th graders and sat on stools. It may have been a different part of the same room but I did not see the teleprompters.

What is sad is that I found the notion that Obama used a teleprompter to speak to 6th graders very credible. However, a little more research should be done before this kind of charge goes viral. It is only a matter of time before liberals ridicule conservative blogs for running this little story.

He deliberately tanked the stock market after Scott Brown won, because he’s furious at us for rejecting his stupid plans. Don’t feel sorry for him. He’s an anti-American wannabe tyrant. His goal is to lower our standard of living in order to teach us a lesson. He wants to make us eat crow for proclaiming ourselves a great people.

Barack Obama Brings His Teleprompters to Speak to a Class of Sixth Graders

Update II: Dan Reihl has an update that takes a lot of the humor out of the photo. A commenter left this nugget of information on Dan’s post (emphasis mine):

What is even more disturbing than the need to whip TOTUS out to talk to school kids is the purpose of Obama’s visit to that school. He was announcing his desire to put billions more into his program “Race to the Top” (RttT in Obamaland cutespeak) and also create a means for school districts to bypass the authority of their State Boards of Education in order to apply for federal RttT funds. What is so disturbing about this? One of the requirements of winning this federal grant money is that local school districts must contractually agree to adopt federal curriculum guidelines, even those that have not yet been defined by the Obama Administration. Yup….the federal core curriculum issue rears its ugly head again. Obama created the local school district bypass to these federal dollars in response to Rick Perry’s decision for Texas to opt out. Obama can’t stand Perry and the State of Texas….and was not about yield the chess board. Posted by: riograndevalleygirl | Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 10:41 PM

0bama: Hi Johnny! Did your mother vote for me?

Sixth grader: I am not Johnny! I am Jimmy! And, that is none of your business!

0bama: Good to meet you Marie. Would you like be become an ACORN?

Sixth grader: My name is Michelle and I don’t like ACORNs.

0bama to teacher: What school is this? Oh, never mind there all the same and filled with crappy kids.

0bama: Hi Van. You’re very chubby for an Asian kid. Would you please give me your lunch money so that I can re-distribute it?

Sixth grader: My name is Tran and no speak much English. No money to give you. Why you wear white powder on your face?

0bama: Tran, you need a wedgie from Kevin Jennings. I bet that was your mom’s SUV blocking my Limousine’s path. Now give me your lunch money – or bend over for Kevin – you little brat.

Oh, what the use! These kids are little right wing brats who don’t swindle easily. This photo op is going down the toiled faster than my ratings. Let’s move the First grade room with the teleprompter, the alphabet book and the globe positioned to show Washington DC.

Ah, this is better. Two teleprompter screens, speakers and no crappy kids. I feel right at home speaking to my friends from the MSM without any real people. Please keep with protocol give me Softball questions only – unless you also would like a wedgie. Make them short and easy. My Limousine is running and I have a meeting with Barney Frank.

Chisum’s comments are correct. What Arne and Zero are saying and trying to do with the education of this country is frightening. This is a link to an article from the Chicago (Obama) Tribune: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/education/chi-renaissance-2010-17-jan17,0,3877012.story
The last two Chicago School Board Presidents, Rufus Williams and Michael Scott, have their own set of federal and state problems. Well, maybe not Scott because he shot himself in the head a few weeks ago. Almost all of Duncan’s brilliant ideas for the Chicago Public Schools have been dismal failures and now these same policies might soon be foisted on the whole county. Check out Arne’s credentials/CV too. Chilling information.

If you think no child should be lured/bribed back to school by promoting “Birthday Sex,” read the article. It is a funny read but was written to raise awareness of what passes for “education,” Chicago style, coming soon to a school district near you.

Excerpt from Congress Votes to Outsource Presidency to India:
A Congressional spokesperson noted that while Mr. Singh may not be fully aware of all the issues involved in the office of President, this should not be a problem as Obama had never been familiar with the issues either.

Mr. Singh will rely upon a script tree that will enable him to respond effectively to most topics of concern. Using these canned responses, he can address common concerns without having to understand the underlying issue at all. “We know these scripting tools work,” stated the spokesperson.

“Obama* has used them successfully for years, with the result that some people actually thought he knew what he was talking about.”

That happened after he chatted with the sixth-graders in a separate classroom — with no teleprompters.

Note the pleasantry, “Hi”, before he calls you an idiot — and the “God bless” as he finishes his mendacious post.

The biggest lie is that he dislikes BO’s policies. It’s the very reason he’s trolling this site and others run by conservatives.

This administration and all those who still work for them peddle lies 24/7. The ones with any brains – or heart – have fled the insanity.

Jan. 25) — President Barack Obama needs a teleprompter even when he’s talking to children.

Conservative bloggers are gleefully spreading this story, saying photos prove their claim that Obama always needs a script.

    A few examples:

Gateway Pundit: Sad: Obama Brings Teleprompter to Speak to 6th Grade Class

Moonbattery: What Kind of Idiot Needs a Teleprompter to Talk to Sixth Graders?

Riehl World View: Is This Obama’s Pet Goat Moment?

It’s red meat for the president’s critics. The only problem is, it’s not true.

Here’s what is true. Obama did bring teleprompters along for his Jan. 19 visit to Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Va. They were set up in a classroom where the president made a statement to reporters about expanding his Race to the Top program to improve schools. That happened after he chatted with the sixth-graders in a separate classroom — with no teleprompters.

    Kristoffer Tripplaar, Pool/Getty Images
President Barack Obama and Education Secretary Arne Duncan visited students in Falls Church, Va., Jan. 19 … The White House Press Office told AOL News on Monday — and photos confirm — that there were two separate events in different rooms. Here’s how The Financial Times’ Anna Fifield described the visit in her pool report:

The President and Secretary Duncan spent about 20 minutes taking questions from the children (out of pool’s earshot). … They then came into the brightly-decorated — “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Look at the letters we know in this room!” — classroom next door to make remarks on Race to the Top.

“You guys look really cute in those chairs,” the president said when he entered the room to find the news photographers sitting in chairs meant for very small children.

    Kristoffer Tripplaar, Pool/Getty Images
… then the president went to a separate classroom at Graham Road Elementary School, where teleprompters were set up, to make a statement to reports.Video posted on sites such as Right Pundits as evidence of Obama’s alleged teleprompter dependence actually shows the journalists, not students, in those little chairs. Another piece of official White House video shows the president entering a different room and meeting with children. (Click to watch)

Some bloggers posted updates backing off the original story slightly, but still ridiculed the president for using the teleprompter to make brief remarks to the media.

“We’re talking about giving a prepared statement and answering a few questions here, not the Gettysburg Address,” said a post on Ace of Spades HQ.

JammieWearing Fool, one of the blogs that helped spread the misleading picture, grudgingly acknowledged in an update that Obama used the teleprompter to speak to reporters, not kids — but took this parting shot:

“What’s the difference between a bunch of sixth-graders and his adoring White House press corps? Answer: Sixth-graders have more credibility.”

    John,
what you said in your post is very typical of those of your “PARTY” My comments are not mean’t in a demeaning way but I think it’s time we totally forget PARTIES and focus on the betterment of this Country no matter the Party. Loyalty to a Party can make us too forgiving of things that really shouldn’t be forgiven or tolerated. Doesn’t matter to me what Party a candidate is representing. . . I’ve never voted strictly along Party lines but based on the candidate, what he stands for and what he can bring to the office.
Should we allow ANYTHING to come before concern for our Country, I don’t think so.

He is the President, for God’s sake! Have you ever heard anther President, or a CEO or other prominent person complain, lambast and deride everyone and everything as much as he does? These are all people and institutions he should be working and consulting with to solve problems. Yet constantly derides every institution that could help him fix the economy if he would be a more positive, sympathetic and respectful person. The man obviously has always been a loner and has no concept of using good management skills to help mold his relationships using positive messages, tone and language. I switched from Republican to Democrat a few years ago but I think I’m pretty fair when it comes to praise and criticism. Even though we later learned he didn’t use the teleprompter while speaking to the kids, democrats have a lot of nerve when it comes to being outraged over unfair press coverage.

Remember when some low-level-bureaucratic-hack, eighteen-steps removed from President Reagan added ketchup to the list of what were considered “vegetables” in the school lunch program? For years afterward all we heard was “Reagan made ketchup a vegetable because he hates poor people”. Or how about all the ridicule of Dan Quayle for not being able to spell potato all because he read what was printed on the card the teacher gave him, “P-O-T-A-T-O-E”. Something we later learned she did purposely to try and make him look like a fool. I remember complaining at the time, not because I was a Republican, but because what the press, pundits and democrats were doing was wrong and unfair.

And then a few short years later during the Clinton administration we find out that the long-subpoenaed but long-missing billing records from the Rose Law Firm not only turn up in the White House living quarters, they literally have Hillary’s fingerprints all over them. The entire media coverage of this consisted of her saying, “I don’t know how they got there” and the collective press saying, “OK, good enough”. This free-pass being just one of many they were given by the media; something that was a direct betrayal of the obligation expected of them when they were given the freedoms granted by the First Amendment. The many failures of the media during the past few decades are as inexcusable as they are wrong.

So how’s that for being fair and unbiased?

My point? The delusional nonsense many of you, and many of those in the right-wing talking-head-crowd are now throwing at President O’bama is just as wrong and just as unfair as the things I just mentioned.

And I know you guys get all pissed-off when you’re accused of being racist but I have to say that, among people I’ve known for years, there is a 100% correlation between those I’ve always known to express racist views (like advocating violence against minorities…and no, just because it’s done in a joking manner doesn’t make it OK) and those who now make all the accusations against O’bama. It’s reached the point where the things you claim are now so of-the-wall, when you compare them with the claims being made by the folks who still tell me I didn’t really see a big-giant-plane fly into the WTC on 9/11 that you’re actually the ones who appear less rational.

I’ve enjoyed all the comments by the Obots trying to defend their messiah.

Sorry folks, he has clay feet. Why does he need a teleprompter to speak to the press? Does the teleprompter answer press questions for him?

Maybe he’s afraid that Joe the Plumber has a press pass.

Anyway, Jon Stewart weighs in on the issue.

This happens over and over again – Republicans jump on to some inane criticism of Obama and end up looking like morons when it’s proven false. Read your comments. They’re embarrassing. Paranoid rants dreamed up by backwoods idiots hopped up on meth.

And don’t try to change the story by saying how dumb Obama is for using a teleprompter to speak to the press – every Republican does this as well. You must know that yet you lie anyway, and it reeks of desperation.

I’m not a fan of Obama and I’m definitely conservative, but I’d never go by the Republican label lest I be grouped together with these animals. You’ve gradually ruined what little credibility you had left.

Speaking of hypocrisy……I love how the libtards get upset when someone criticizes “The President”, but then they turn around and bash Bush.

“I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.”
