French “youths”, mostly from poor Muslim suburbs, torched 1,137 cars in France this year, only 10 short from the record set last year.

Youths burned 1,137 cars across France overnight as New Year’s Eve celebrations once again turned violent, the French Interior Ministry said on Friday.
Car burnings are regular occurrences in poor suburbs that ring France’s big cities, but the arson is especially prevalent during New Year’s Eve revelry.
The number of vehicles torched was only 10 short of the record 1,147 burned this time last year, even though the Interior Ministry mobilized 45,000 police during the night — 10,000 more than 12 months ago.
It said police detained 549 people overnight, compared with 288 in 2009 New Year celebrations. However, unlike in previous years, there were no direct clashes between police and youths. “The few disturbances that did take place were brought swiftly under control,” the ministry said in a statement.
The vandalism is generally attributed to marauding youths from tough neighborhoods in immigrant-heavy areas, and evokes the three-week wave of riots and other violence that shocked the country in late 2005.

Burning cars…… it’s not just for New Year’s.
People like me – you know, the supposed tin-foil-hat-wearing-crowd – have been on this and more for years.
You might be surprised to know this form of peace-loving Muslim normal behavior is damn near a daily occurrence in France for at least a few cars in a few towns.

Muslim violence in Europe is on the rise. The placid Europeons are in for a rough ride on this one. Would not want to be insuring a car in France after all this mayhem. Unless there is some more direct response such as mass expulsions of these unemployed ambassadors of the religion of peace, France and other countries are doomed.

I’ve asked this before and have never gotten an answer. Whose cars are being torched? I’m guessing it is the cars of non-Muslims, but I’ve never seen any actual data on it. I’m also wondering why we never hear from the owners of these cars. I assume the MSM wouldn’t want to talk to them, but I was hoping that independent bloggers would.

Yes, the actions of these people in France is deplorable, but do you really think this is an orchestrated act of violence that targets “infidel” cars, or is it more likely that it is is random arson committed by an uneducated and economically depressed segment of the population.
These are violent and disgruntled idiots who happen to be Muslim. These is no indication that this was an act initiated with a theological intent.
In France, as in many places in Europe, the poorest people are often immigrants from Islamic countries.
Just as there is greater violence in American ghettos, so it is in Europe.
Do you really think that violence in American ghettos is because of a “black agenda?” When people are poor and feel they have no way out, they get desperate. It doesn’t matter what their faith is, or the color of their skin.

I believe the above is an example of a politically correct knee-jerk rhetoric-spewing reply devoid of any logical individual thought processes.
The invasion of 1st-world countries by hordes of outsiders, especially those unwilling and/or unable to assimilate into the receiving country’s society/culture, will likely eventually result in the receiving country being forced to adapt to the culture/society to assimilate partially or FULLY to that of the invading horde.
One possible end result is that the elites of the invaded country will be able to exert themselves as an oligarchy.
For that reason, I believe today’s elites of ANY country allowing excessive legal and/or illegal immigration of peoples possessing currently minority societal/cultural beliefs to be engaged in class war with the citizens of their country.
The invaders a merely a useful tool to divide and conquer the majority, to benefit the elite few and their minions.
In the USA the multi-billionaire is quoted saying:

Multiculturalism is a beautiful thing! You too can have ghettos, honor killings, 4 underaged wives dressed in tents, gang rape, assult, robbery, riots and car burnings!
My grandmother is French and when we visited her neighborhood when I was really young I remember it being peaceful, pleasent and very “French”. Now that same neighborhood is almost unrecognizable only 15 years later.
Since millions of immigrants have flooded into France (mostly muslims from 3rd world countries), my grandmother’s old neighborhood looks like a slum now.
People are afraid to take public transportation, windows are boarded up and hostile gangs and their graffiti are everywhere. And the depressing is is that nothing can be done about it.
How on Earth the left thinks doing this to our communities is an improvement I have no idea. Oh wait, yeah I do. Countries and cities that are “too white” are “uncomfortable” to them.
Well we liberals will fix that! Let’s ship in tens of millions of low skilled and often hostile fundamentalist muslims from Turkey, Moracco and God knows where else!
That will fix the “too white looking” “problem” in no time!

No mention of what “diversity” is or how to define it. Just that We, the People, must accept it, even embrace it!!!!
Yet, I wonder how much “diversity” I would witness if I entered the areas where the USA’s wealthy and powerful elite classes live?
I guarantee there would be a small, if any, minority of those from the working-poor or lower demographics present and that the elite’s spawn would not have to contend with Chicano gangs at school or in their neighborhoods.
In the USA MANY of those preaching the wonders and desirability of diversity and multi-culturalism do not practice what they spew.
But, it is good enough for the lower classes.
It is only a matter of time until the USA is rent asunder and the elites and corporate America can initiate their desired oligarchy.
