Antiwar Bush-hating Congressman John Murtha passed away yesterday after his intestine was damaged during gallbladder surgery. The antiwar democrat was famous for his cold-blooded attack on innocent US Marines in Haditha, Iraq. He also was recently listed as the most corrupt politicians in Congress.
Although Rep. Murtha may be gone, Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) lives on. Here’s a look at The New York Daily News front page earlier today:

Leave it to the Libtards. That’s insanely cold-hearted and very insensitive to the Murtha family.

I am speaking about the ‘I can has cheezburger’ caption on Murtha’s picture.

“Survived Vietnam and 8 Years of Bush, But Not Surgery”
By equating the Bush years with the deadliness of the Vietnam War, doesn’t their caption seem to implicitly remark on the toxic morbidity of these Obama years?

Calling him a cut-and-runner, cold-blooded and corrupt isn’t cold-hearted and insensitive to his family?

I remember when I thought of the Daily News as conservative — in my foolish youth. Now they are just fools with attitude.

He survived all that but not Government Health Care.
February 9th, 2010 | 9:22 pm | #8
Murtha = decorated war hero. Look it up.
All you jarheads out there just got insulted again.
He survived three months in Vietnam and for eight years disgraced himself while hundreds of brave young marines were giving their lives for their country he was calling them murderers.
If Marines actually are guarding the streets in Heaven, they’ll know what to do when he shows up.
February 9th, 2010 | 9:24 pm | #9
Ironic that government health care did him in and now his demise is an argument against it.

If the Marines find out where he’s buried they had better install drainage tile all the way around!

So Bush was trying to kill him?

Linda Ellis wrote her poem, “The Dash”, about the little “dash” on tombstones that sits between the “Born” and “Deceased” dates, in one afternoon several years ago. In 239 words, she captured the “Simple Truths” of why we were put on this earth. I’ll leave it to the Vietnam Veterans he abandoned and the Marines he slandered and forced to be tried for “crimes” they did not commit at Haditha to describe “Vietnam War” veteran John Murtha’s “dash”.

I’m ex-military and that “crooked politician” is not someone that should be idolized. I have more respect for Randall Cunningham (another corrupt politician currently in the PEN) he never badmouth the military, also his exploits in combat are legendary in air warfare.
Just remember the Reverend Wright (obamas beloved preacher) is also ex-military, does that make him a war hero too?
He should have picked a better doctor, the quack he chose to save a few “bones” on co-pay did him in.
Michael Jackson, Ted Kennedy are waiting for him in the “pit of hell”, the only brightside for him is that he definitely will be voting democratic on the next election, death has never stopped the democrats from voting.

Murtha and Bozo are poster kiddies for the “Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS).” Oh, wait, cannot forget Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer, and the Hillary Bozo the Clinton. ;)

Yeah, Myna, gall bladder surgery is supposed to be minor. God does work in wonderous ways helped by government healthcare.
Murthas demise is our future if Obamacare becomes law.

Tom, telling the truth about Murtha may seem “cold-hearted and insensitive to his family” and cause them embarrassment and pain, but where is your sympathy for the Marines and their families whose careers and lives have been destroyed by Murtha’s libelous lies? Call it tough love for Murtha’s family; they’ll be better off in the long run. They won’t have to live a lie trying to defend his corruption.

This is all you have to know about John Murtha to understand what a despicable character he was:
Rep. John Murtha (D-PA), former Marine, longtime antagonist of the soldiers and of America’s efforts in Iraq, and chairman of the defense subcommittee of the purse string-holding House Appropriations Committee, last week announced that House Democratic leaders had joined forces with several anti-war organizations in an attempt to undermine the President’s authority as Commander in Chief of the nation’s fighting forces by “limiting the administration’s options” through the passage of legislation, the inclusion of several stipulations for receipt of funding in appropriations bills, and a corresponding multi-million dollar anti-war advertising campaign.
——————————————————————————–
Murtha himself called this plan a “slow-bleed strategy” – an apt title, given the nature of what is being fought over in this political battle.

Rep. Dicks Top Contender for Defense
Appropriations Seat Held by Murtha
[The subcommittee determines how the Pentagon spends its money. Being chairman of an appropriations subcommittee is one of the most influential posts on Capitol Hill because of the sway these lawmakers hold over their area of federal spending. The chairmen are known as "cardinals" in congressional parlance -- a nod to the role cardinals play in the Catholic church.
[..]
Still, another name mentioned as a potential candidate to succeed Murtha is Rep. Chet Edwards of Texas. Though more junior than Dicks, Edwards chairs the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Subcommittee. He represents a large military constituency in his district and is well-schooled in the Pentagon’s budgetary needs.
Because the appropriations subcommittee chairmanships wield such dominant authority over the federal purse, the panel typically defers to the next senior lawmaker when an opening occurs. House Democrats require their caucus to approve “cardinals” as well as the Steering Committee, which metes out committee assignments.]

Murtha’s status among veteran Marines is lower than Whitman or Oswald.
As my old DI would say, “He’s lower than whale sh*t and thats at the bottom of the ocean.”

I would like to know where the asshat is going to be buried so I can piss on his grave. If it’s Arlington, I’ll be there in March and I’ll have a little present for the sorry bastard.
Excuse me for my harsh language, Jim, but I can’t stand this man.

Murtha is the poster boy for everything that’s wrong with the Congress. Good riddance to Murtha and Kennedy, but America can’t count on several hundred more natural deaths. We need to vote these turds out and make sure no future gang of turds hijacks this country the way this group has.
Ditto the blowhard in the White House.

With combat service it’s important to reward acts of bravery and heroism. Only fools and politicians want purple hearts.
My father was a infantry platoon leader who landed on Omaha Beach, was wounded in the hedgerow fighting, wounded again on day one of the Ardennes Offensive, and killed as his unit moved up to the Rhine. His CIB and three purple hearts are pinned on the 48 star flag under which the Army brought him home.
Like Murtha, I was also stationed at DaNang AB, RVN. Unlike Murtha, my purple heart and other medals were all submitted by my unit, the 366 Tac Fighter Wing, not by my Congressman.

I used to ask why we can’t get the same kind of medical coverage that congress critters get. Now, I’m not sure I want it. If their doctors can kill a congress critter, we might be better off with the dmv version of care.
