The brazen dishonesty of this president is a bit concerning to say the least.
A newly discovered video shows Obama lying to the American people about his relationship with ACORN:
Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) from the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released this video at CPAC of Barack Obama discussing his close partnership with ACORN. Obama talked about his long relationship with ACORN privately in this video before the 2008 election:
“When I ran project vote, the voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it. Once I was elected there wasn’t a campaign that ACORN worked on down in Springfield that I wasn’t right there with you. Since I have been in the United States Senate I’ve been always a partner with ACORN as well. I’ve been fighting with ACORN, along side ACORN, on issues you care about my entire career.”
But, when Barack Obama was confronted about his relationship with ACORN publicly before the election he had an entirely different story. This is what he said in October 2008:
Reporter: Senator McCain today said there was voter fraud going on in the battleground states. ACORN has been tampering with America’s most precious right. There has to be a full investigation and he also said you need to disclose your full relationship with ACORN. I’m wondering if you have any reaction to Senator McCain’s charge?
Barack Obama: Well, first of all my relationship with ACORN is pretty straightforward. It’s probably 13 years ago when I was still practicing law, I represented ACORN and my partner in that investigation was the US Justice department in having Illinois implement what was called the motor voter law, to make sure people could go to DMV’s and driver license facilities to get registered. It wasn’t being implemented. That was my relationship and is my relationship to ACORN. There is an ACORN organization in Chicago. They’ve been active. As an elected offiical, I’ve had interactions with them. But, they’re not advising my campaign. We’ve got the best voter registration in politics right now and we don’t need ACORN’s help.
For the record…
ACORN is the largest radical leftist group in America today.
This radical group worked closely with the Obama camp during the election but, the community organizing group was not open about the relationship. The photo below was scrubbed from the ACORN website before the election:
One of Barack Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He worked along side ACORN before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts.
And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama in 2008.
In 2009 Obama promoted a top ACORN operative, Patrick Gaspard, who’s oranization was fined $775,000 for election violations, to a top post in the White House. Gespard is helping shape domestic policy today.
Obama’s ACORN group was banned from receiving federal funds in September after the group was busted on tape promoting the child sex slave trade.

Current law prohibits the community organization ACORN and its associated groups from receiving any federal funds from any federal law currently on the books. However, the Eric Holder Justice Department has interpreted the law as allowing federal agencies to pay ACORN for “binding contractual obligations” made before the current prohibition was enacted. This questionable interpretation may go a long way toward neutralizing ACORN’s funding prohibition.
The actual ban reads as follows: “None of the funds made available from this joint resolution or any other prior Act may be provided to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries or allied organizations.” (Emphasis added.)

The thing that I find most disturbing about the clip is that Obama has a completely different manner of speaking in the two segments. I’m sure that use the words “smack dab” all the time at the University of Chicago Law School.

I just don’t know why this man is not being stopped. He gave some of the TARP money to Harry Reid yesterday for housing in NV. This was illegal, and no one stopped him. Harry Reid in accepting it committed a crime. Mark Levin talked about this last night. If he kills people would someone stop him then? I’m beginning to think he can just do what he wants, and everyone turns a blind eye. So what if he lies, so what if he steals, so what if he destroys our currency(which I always thought was an act of treason,) yet he is just allowed to carry on, why? I have no faith in the FBI, CIA, Congress, the liars in the media have enabled him, have even covered up for him. The one thing he hasn’t lied about though, according to all of the brilliant people with camera’s in their faces, pens in their hands, keyboards, and microphones, is “he was born in Hawaii.”
Yes the one thing he isn’t lying about is he is a Natural Born Citizen. Sometimes I want to fight, sometimes I want to sit down and cry because they won’t stop him. Even the Supreme Court and the others in the Judicial Branch, just let him do it. If a robber came into their home, would they just allow him to loot the place?

Actually, obama’s NOT a very good liar. He’s prolific – but that’s all. He’ll lie at the drop of a hat – and then lie about whose hat it is.
But he keeps telling these outrageous lies that are quickly shown to be lies by videos of what he’s said or done before.
A really good liar will not only get you to believe what he’s saying at the moment – but he’ll be sure that there’s nothing out there to expose his lies. He’ll be sure that his lies are covered.
Obama lies so often because a) it’s what he does. He’s said in his “autobiography” that he just tells white folks whatever they want to hear so that he can get over on them. And, b) he has so little respect for the American people that he feels that they will automatically believe anything that he says – no matter that it’s proveably false. (and his moonbat lackeys do) It’s just another facet showing how disdainful he is of people in general; and how much he despises the American people in particular. It’s all a part of his dislike of America.

In the fight against ACORN, always remember their Achilles heel… they are deathly afraid of a legal process called “discovery”.
If you confront them, always do it aggressively and honestly… they will always have to back down. They cannot afford to actually go to court for anything as their raison d’etre (money laundering) would be exposed.
If they threaten you with legal action, do not contact your local Republican party, they will recommend a wimpy, unaggressive lawyer. Instead, contact a few area Tea Party leaders. They will get the word out and someone in the movement will be (or know) an aggressive lawyer who will wring every bit of info from ACORN if they continue to fight you.
But remember… they must back down before discovery, or their scam will end in recriminations and jail terms.

[On July 6, 1994, a lawsuit was filed against Citibank and on June 30,1995, Judge Ruben Castillo certified it as a class action in the case of Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, 162 F.R.D. 322 (N.D. Ill. 1995). This lawsuit was file by ACORN and despite his denial of involvement, Barack Obama was one of ACORN’s lawyers on this case. See here for the full case record. He was clearly involved with ACORN and their plan to use affirmative action tactics on banks, forcing them to approve loans that should not have been granted.
