The great Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs destroyed Ron Reagan Jr., Joy Behar and her other hateful liberal guest on the Behar Show last night. Geller gave Ron Jr. the spanking he never had, but needed. You can tell she got under that naughty boy’s skin. He looked like he was going to cry.

Behar and her elitist panelists were bashing the former governor for her palm reading in Nashville:

Terrific job, Pamela!

The Examiner has more on the live liberal meltdown.

Joy should keep talking. We hear her disdain and mockery, and it is pointed at the people who make America work. Joy’s words will come back and bite her. I watched this real time last night. To be honest I had never heard (thank God as it turns out) of Pam Geller. Well…all I can say is that Geller is nothing but a loud mouth spouting right wing rhetoric. She came across as a classless, beligerent and immature nut case. She had the gall to tell Ron Reagan that he didn’t know his father?! Who the hell is this woman? Clearly she is an extremist, that much is certain. She had nothing to say of substance…all she did was yell over everyone else and personally attack them. Sure didn’t impress me.

Behar is not the poster child for organized thought. People in glass houses…didn’t I hear that once? I guess that doesn’t apply when you have a talk show where a bunch of lifted-pinky tea sippers trash lifted-bootstrap tea partiers. Behar has great confidence in her debating skills although her measure of a win is if she can get her opponent to run out their room with duct tape wrapped around their head.

Pam is a force to be reckoned with. Her amazing exposé of Islamic-Nazi cooperation before and during WWII is nothing short of brilliant. It should be read by everyone who wants to know about the driving force behind modern fascism and its meaning in the underlying forces that threaten to dhimmify and dominate Europe (as well as Asia and South and North America).

Her tireless effort to expose Muslim tyranny against women and the use of “honor” killings, enslavement and FGM to subjugate women everywhere is a wake up call on how societies are crushed under the jackboot of Islam.

    Read her blog.

Given the Palin “quitter” criticism a major contention since she resigned from public office, Geller must have had her rebuttal ready before Nancy’s pipsqueak levied the charge. Although a good defensive position against “quitting”, I found the “reason” Geller provided disturbing because it reeks of opportunist revisionism being used on behalf of Palin. Once revisionism creeps in to the “record” it is obvious that corruption is afloat.

I am very wary of designating Palin as having “sacrificed” her title in order to be the “leader of the revolution” in the lower 48.

I was Palin’s staunchest defender while the media slaughtered her and her children. And I wished her all the best when she resigned her governorship, attacking those who asserted Palin’s political suicide. I hoped that she would take her “sabbatical” (as I referenced her period following the resignation) to earnestly seek scholarly knowledge that I and responsible citizens DO demand from our national leaders. And though her latest convention speech was a crowd-pleaser, really, it broke absolutely NO NEW GROUND and could have been given any time since Reagan’s administration. I read a critique that stuck home yesterday that summarized Palin’s address as strictly neo-conservative, and failing to address the heart of the matter that actually sparked the spontaneous Tea Party Revolution which until now, was not defined by Palin–but since her speech will forever be presented as Palin by the media. Essentially, Palin hijacked the Tea Party.

Had Palin taken her own advice and endorsed NEW, more independent and uncorrupted, well qualified, dedicated conservative Tea Party candidates for public office, I would still admire her as I did. But she has aligned to get McCain and Perry re-elected; and both of those career politicians are dangerously bought and paid for by the very powers that the Tea Party finds revolting and eschews. Sad to say, kickback Perry PAC is the most corrupt governor Texas has ever known. Sadly, Palin has sold out. And regarding the fruits from her “sabbatical leave” she did not fair well in her interview with Chris Wallace where she had the golden opportunity to make lucid her depth of knowledge, having taken so many months “off” to supposedly garner intellectual growth. And I am sorry that she is participating in the “dumbing down of America” by selling career politicians like McCain and Perry to the Tea Party public, and ignoring the essential points that motivated the authentic grass roots movement against the growing encroachment of government against our Constitutional Liberty in life. If given the opportunity to force their programs against American citizens again, both McCain and Perry have admitted that they would jump at the chance to do it all again.

/Ronny Reagan, Jr. only has his place is society because he is the former president’s ultra liberal son. Too bad for Nancy that her children alter the public’s perception to erase/revise the awareness of the Reagan administration’s legacy. Geller could have stabbed Junior with that point on air to establish the irrelevance of his jabs @ Palin. Junior, Behar and parrot remain prime examples of “elitist” stupidity, superimposing cynicism upon their LACK of intellect. That big fat trap won’t CYA, Behar.

Ron Reagan is a disgrace to his parents. A rebellious teenager who never outgrew it. What I saw looking at this (and it was hard to watch) were three very unhappy individuals: Behar, Miller, and Reagan. They have never matured beyond the mental age of 13, where it’s cool to make fun of other people. Geller was really good and held her own in a three-against-one fight.

While I don’t agree that Pam Geller destroyed anyone in that um, debate (it’s hard to win an argument in which you are not allowed to speak), I give her kudos for hanging in there and fighting the good fight. Above all, I was amazed and disgusted by the nature of the attacks on Palin and anyone who defends her. Childish does not begin to describe it. I am reminded of a high school clique that has identified it’s next target and set about destroying it. It’s really no more mature than that.

Baby Ron’s friends were treating his father with the very same shrieking contempt that they now spit towards Sarah Palin and all of those she represents…For the same reasons I suspect.

She was so busy defending Sarah that she let the opportunity to mention that Ron was doing the same sarcastic hit job on Sarah that the liberal idiots[like Behar] did to his father. She could have pointed out that they also called Pres.Reagan an idiot & a 2nd rate actor. The libs always disparage a conservative as an idiot to deflect attention from their lack of reason. Wow! This was no debate; it was an ambush! The three on the left had nothing of substance to say and because Pam did Joy made the comment “you never shut up”. What a classless thing to say to a guest on your show! It is so obvious that the “left” run on emotions instead of debatable arguments. The only thing close was Joy stating that Palin didn’t care about the people that “needed help”. That is so far from the truth that it barely bears repeating. It this is an example of all the “left” has they are in deep trouble; hence their reliance on condescension and ridicule. Pity that.

Ronald Reagan is a RINO, Reagan In Name Only! Pam nailed him! Just because you are someone’s son does not mean you are the same mind set.

Using family members against conservatives is typical Progressive strategy. They did the same thing with Dick Cheney and his gay sister.

It really proves no point it only gives people who listen to sound bites a one liner, “well Ron Reagan Jr. says…”, “well, Dick Cheney has a gay sister, what do you think of that?”

As far as the statement that Sarah Palin is a quitter. I did not like Pam’s answer. I wish Pam would have directed this group to Sarah Palin’s book where she explains that her resignation was because the State of Alaska’s government became so bogged down with frivolous ethic’s violation charges and staff only being able to gather information for the media’s requests under the Freedom of Information Act that she resigned so the state could get on with their business.

We all know how the Progressives use the court system to render their opponents impotent. A MAJOR improvement under TORT reform would be to adopt that the loser pays the winner’s lawyer’s fees.

Perhaps we could go back to the Old Law of the Bible, where if you brought a false accusation against another and you were found to be lying that person served the same sentence as what would have been given to the defendant even if the penalty was death.

Sarah Palin stands squarely in the tradition of Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan. She may never become president, but this war is being fought on all fronts, and the movement is stronger for her. Ron Sr. would love Palin; one of his sayings “Never speak ill of a fellow Republican” and, last I heard, Palin was a Republican. Ron Jr. is not, I guess. Also, Joy Behar is right about one thing — we don’t consider her to be a “real American.”

I don’t know if Sarah Palin would make a good president or not. (I’d like to hear her answer to a question such as, “Gov. Palin, which of the Federalist Papers do you regard as being most important, and why?”)

But I like her more than I like the people who don’t like her. She’s a resourceful person who took the initiative to improve her own life and the lives of people around her, and who walks the walk.

My Mom is a Sarah. My dear wife is a Sarah. Hopefully, my daughter will grow up to be a Sarah. If you mess with Sarah, you mess with these fine women in my life. And if you mess with them, you mess with me.

Joy Behar gives away the game.

Here we have Ron Reagan, ideologically opposed to his father’s every thought, making the claim that his father wouldn’t have liked Palin.

“Did you ever meet my father?”

Here we have the left’s idea of how sentiment and ideology is transferred – by meeting or by being of the same tribe. Ronnie Reagan is asserting tribal dominance. He and he alone is the keeper of his father’s legacy merely because he shares some DNA and has “met” the man. This is the SOLE reason why Ron Reagan is able to spout his opinions on national (sort of) TV

Joy then spouts out, “It’s really hard to argue with the offspring of the guy…”

This is where she gives it away. The left is holding Ronnie hostage. Whatever he says goes, and no one is allowed to talk about the 40th US President when he is in the room or on a live feed since he is the “son”. OK…got it.

I didn’t see any fabulous takedown of Joy Behar–I barely heard Pam Gellar speak. Like Maverick Muse, I did not like the excuse Gellar gave for Palin resigning the governorship.

Why did Gellar even agree to be on this show? She had to know that Behar wasn’t going to let her be heard. And isn’t that the reason to speak out on a show like that? To try to reason with the liberals in the audience? Gellar isn’t there for the conservatives because we already agree with her. Watch it again from a liberal’s perspective, and you’ll see that Gellar makes barely an impression.

I agree with Pam and I think Behar is an atrocious being…but that doesn’t change the way I saw the show. Why anyone would use this as an example of a conservative being heard, I don’t know.

Ron Reagan is such an embarrassment. If you’re talking politics, you can’t wipe out all discussion of President Reagan because they “didn’t know him.” Now if you’re talking child rearing, cooking skills or whatever, you can claim you’re the only one who really knows what he thought.

Ronald Reagan would never publicly treat any American the way his son treats Palin — President Reagan wouldn’t even treat a vile angry liberal like son in that manner.

RR Jr.s yapping about his father is little different from the Kennedy clan reactions when you point out that JFK cut taxes, just like Reagan and Bush II did.

I wonder if there ever has been a showdown between RR Jr. and Michael Reagan. The latter would likely destroy Junior, because Jr. couldn’t advance his lame argument that Michael didn;t know his father.

Liberals held Reagan in contempt from ’64 right up until his death. Now they act as if THEY beleive he was great, and all the s*** they threw at him was never done. They’ll do the same when Bush II passes on and they’ll do the same when Palin passes on.

No liberal has yet been able top explain WHY they hate Palin so much. All they can do is ridicule, which is utterly pathetic and totally elitist.

Ron Reagan gave as good as he got from Ms. Geller. In fact, Geller showed real classlessness by not acknowledging Reagan’s obvious stronger assessment of his own father. That she couldn’t give that ground shows a real flaw in her debate ability. But that’s what’s wrong with all discussions of this kind; no one wants to actually listen and debate the facts, only having their own set of talking points from which they will not budge.

On the other side, Geller is right about Sarah Palin, regardless that she’s still not prepared on foreign policy. If George W. Bush can get re-elected, anyone can be president. Palin’s certainly no dumber than W.

Look, BigMo (is that Missouri?), I’ve been fair to Palin post 2008 election. But the comparison to Reagan is just wrong. Reagan could run circles around most of the current crop of GOP hopefuls on communication alone. Palin doesn’t come close to his gifts on that score alone. Reagan also was secure enough in himself that he would deal with Democrats like Tip O’Neil and others to get things done. No one close to his standing exists today on the right, and I say that as a die hard liberal who voted for Reagan in 1980.

Ron Reagan Jr. is at best a prodigal son. He’s the antithesis of his father and an abject failure in life, forced to live off his father’s legacy. Every family has a Billy Carter or Roger Clinton type they try to hide from the guests. Junior is it.

Who designated Joy Behar as an intellect? She’s a poor excuse for a comedian and uninformed buffoon to be laughed at – Rosie with red hair.

I don’t know who shrew was to the right of Pamela, but she was the designated Behar toady.

And as far as Sarah Palin leaving office half way through her term? While we can debate the merits of what Palin did, I can give one good reason for her leaving the position.

Frivolous law suits that the henchmen from the left had filed – all of which have been proven bogus. Sarah Palin had spent over $500K having to defend herself from the lynch mob of Obama.

Sarah Palin jumped while the frying pan was hot and made millions in the process. That must fry the butts of the neo-pagans representative of progressive politic. Me, I find it the height of irony.

I’ll leave it up the audience to decide who is right and wrong but I can guarantee Pamela Geller was correct about one thing. The more hags like Joy Behar team up with equally shrill shrews to screech about Sarah Palin, the more obvious the patronizing and jealousy become. And only Sarah Palin wins.

    @JB,
I know that Ron and his father had their issues. Who amongst us has never had a falling out with a parent? At least it didn’t have to be played out in public like their relationship. The last thing I am is a Ronald Reagan fan, believe me on that. To see this woman, Geller, try to tell a son about who and what his father stood for, was appalling. I believe that this is the type of extreme some people are willing to go to in order to have someone who has passed, and cannot speak for themselves. Ron and Ronald may not have seen eye-to-eye, but if a stranger said they knew my father better than I did, especially when trying to fill my father’s mouth with things I do not find to be truthful, I would have gone off much more than Ron did. He showed some decent restraint. I truly feel like Ron felt that his father’s legacy was being trampled just by insinuating that Sarah Palin is anything like him. As I already mentioned I have many issues with the Reagan admin., that being said he was a formidable politician and legislator and head and shoulders, and torso above the savvy and intellect of Sarah Palin. Let the feeding frenzy ensue…

I’m not really sure how anyone got “destroyed” here in this free-for-all of shouting. I think Joy is a big gas-bag, but Pam mostly just seemed to get caught up in the tit-for-tat name-calling and taunting that the others engaged in. Frankly, it was ten minutes of embarrassing nonsense. The liberals were only interested in bashing their favorite bogieman (or woman, as the case may be), and Pam put herself in a position of denying that Palin quit as Governor (undeniable, regardless of the context), and that the word retard was somehow clearly more potentially insulting in how Rahm uses it as opposed to Rush.

Politics should be more serious business than treated Jerry Springer style. And sometimes it should be okay to admit when a political favorite does something or says something that could be open to fair critique.

Palin is a savy enough political animal with great populist appeal. But she is not above making a few mis-steps, just as anyone else.

In President Reagan and Tip O’neil’s political climate, they saw each other as the loyal opposition. In these two great men’s time, for the most part, Democrats and Republicans loved the country and it’s ideals. They just had different visions of how to improve the country.

Today, conservatives are not competing with liberals to improve the country. Today conservatives are battling against something totally different from liberals: LEFTISTS/MARXISTS, and even more dangerously, MAOISTS and LENINISTS, who seek to transform from the country’s principles altogether.

Talking heads of Behar’s ilk are simply useful idiots to people who know by heart the contents of books like, Rules for Radicals, Quotations from Chairman Mao, better known as The Little Red Book, or Marx’s People Papers, just to name a few.

Geller knows her stuff and does her homework, besides being grounded in good values. She was thrown to these wolves and she handled them as best anyone could.

To a commenter above, she did remark that the charges of stupidity were made of Ron’s father also, but, not surprisingly, it was lost in the screaming of the other three.

I totally agree that she understood Ronald Reagan better than his son. Sad, but true. If Ron, Jr. knew his dad at all, he would not be who he is today.

Her response that Palin’s “leading a new revolution!” was a terrific answer. It smacked them upside the head with the truth they want to deny. Their attempts to destroy Palin have ultimately backfired on them and their agenda.

Pamela knew she could only utter a few words before being shouted down. She knows better than any of us the frivolous, outrageous lawsuits that were harrassing Palin and her administration — do you honestly think the other 3 would have allowed her to explain that situation?

Oh, and Geller is awesome. The Left-controlled arrangement IF forced to include a Conservative always favors three -to-one shout-downs in case an inconvenient fact is mentioned.

This is evoking the 1800 Naval debuts of the American Super Frigates, the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides), USS Philadelphia, USS United States, USS President.

They were one step down from the massive awesome Ships of the Line, but when they hit the high seas, they soon proved the genuis of their revolutionary design, hard hitting, fast and manuverable.

The British Admiralty was forced to issue new Rules of Engagement to British commanders. One-on-one was forbidden, commanders if attempting to take on a US Super Frigate, had to do it with the support of at least one preferably TWO supporting, making it three ships to ONE.

A well-armed, as in well-informed, Pamela Geller holds her own just fine against THREE talking points-spouting airheads. Ron Reagan Jr totally dissolved into petulant child. After they’re run out of the Dem party, or slither silently away from it, much as the progressives who tried unsuccessfully to overtake WA DC in the early 1900s did, watch the Republican party very closely. Socialists are like cockroaches: wherever you see one, either exterminate thoroughly and immediately or expect an infiltration. As they’ve already got some influence or hold of the GOP, albeit small, and it would be the last place most would look for them, that could very well be where they scurry to next.

In the meantime, the two parties can’t work together or compromise because socialism is the antithesis to our Constitutional Republic.

Because of a slow ‘Net connection (or something that’s causing it to buffer then play a couple of seconds and then buffer and then play of couple of seconds and then buffer…on both of my machines) I’m not able to watch the clip, which is okay by me after reading the comments here. I love Pamela Geller as much as I adore Sarah Palin, so watching three lefturds gang up on Geller as she tries to defend Palin from their personal attacks and childish taunts…well, it doesn’t appeal to me.

I can’t stand that Behar person, anyway. That her name is Joy would be funny if it were a nickname, like my 6’4″ nephew, who goes by “Tiny,” a name his high school friends gave him. As it’s her given name, however, it’s just a sick, sad irony, as there’s nothing of joy to be found in her. That other loud-mouthed woman, well, I’ve caught seconds of her using her outside voice indoors while channel surfing and kept on surfing.

Before giving up on playing the clip, I did catch, in the first few seconds of the clip, Ron Jr saying “Bless her heart” about Palin. Used in that context, “Bless her heart” is southern woman speak, a more polite and genteel way to say that someone is stupid. Coming from the mouth of another southern woman, it’s okay. From a man, particularly an elitist from one of the more intellectual and cultural coasts, it just sounds effeminate. He truly is a Nancy boy, isn’t he? The next time Behar calls, he should just say “no.”

Finally, to the libtarded trolls who’ve descended on this post like buzzards on roadkill, just as they do on every post about Palin, I have this to say: Idiots. The whole lot of you are idiots. If you weren’t idiots, then you’d know that you reveal your fear of Palin by commenting at all posts with her name in the title. Go ahead and deny that you feel threatened by her. That you’re here posting comments at all proves you’re lying…again.

He sure didn’t back up his claim, “I’m afraid it’s pretty much the opposite.” How so?

Did Ron come out of the exchange looking better? Gary’s words: she exposed a “childish obsession” with Palin by three “puffed up vultures.”

Or did he mean Ron destroyed Pamela? Not by his account: her “…bravery, control and general presentation was admirable.”

I think Jim Hoft is closer to the truth than he. And one statement too many may have exposed Gary’s real affiliation.

As a former republican for most of my life, I am ashamed of my former party and what they have come to represent. Claiming to have been a “lifelong Republican who was forced to vote for obama because [FITB]” is out. The wingnuts (that would be us) have caught on to that one; and mostly just laugh at anyone who uses it.
You should contact troll central (or email axlerod astroturf directly) for the new meme.

Gosh, S.L. Cox, but maybe we should work on that first statement of yours. Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t it read:

“I must say that nearly every one of these comments sounded like it came from…”

    and preferrably:

“I must say that nearly every one of these comments sounded like it came from an uninformed illiterate.

And your second statement: “…I am ashamed of my former party and what it has come to represent.”

Then you could rightly conclude – less ironically – that we lack education as evidenced by our use of the English language.

That “English” should be capitalized, no?

No, pm, you misunderstand my post, and my “affiliations” are firmly in Pam’s camp. However, there’s little justification for labeling the post as Pam “destroying” Ron Reagan.

In fact, Reagan succeeded in gaining sympathy (from the great unwashed) on the grounds that Pam was intruding on his relationship with his dad, which most would assume he probably should know best about. He in fact DID “come out of the exchange looking better” — not to me or you or most of us here, obviously, but to probably the majority watching.

He was loud, dominant and articulate, not that I agree with his worldview in the slightest. But that’s what often wins debates, I’m afraid.

I just prefer honest, accurate labels and portrayals in blog headings and postings. A more appropriate wording (IMHO) would have been: “Geller exposes childish Palin obsession by media liberals.” That’s a far cry from “destroying”.

My guess is that Ron Reagan doesn’t know his father as well as he would like to think, very few children do, but Pam just looked stupid trying to claim that she knew someone she never met better than his own son. She came across less as destroying him than delusional to simply keep insisting that she knew him better. If she was the brilliant intellect that many claim, she should have realized that this line of debate would be fruitless and tried to come up with something else.

Your father has been eulogized as a model of genuineness. But did you see any schism between his public and private selves?

In private, you got what you got in public. He treated everyone the same. He was just a very warm man, and he worked hard to impress upon his children the value of kindness. He was biologically incapable of gossip. There was no smallness in him.

Goodness, someone told the trolls to head our way.

If they’d stop with the emotional reactions, and think with more depth, they might consider this:

Shared values make a lifetime friend of a complete stranger — while opposing beliefs make strangers of a parent and child.

Liberals are often narcissists. As such, they’re unable to see anyone beyond themselves as real or human. That further complicates one’s understanding of another. Additionally, for them, people are merely things to be used for their own purposes. This may explain why Jr. may attach himself to his dad on occasions such as this.

Geller shared and loved President Reagan’s values. Not so his son.

Her point, that Ron, Jr. challenged, was that President Reagan would have loved Sarah Palin. Palin also shares Reagan’s core values.

I agree Ronald Reagan would have had the heart/mind connection with Palin that he never had with his son.

Liberals are all about appearances. Conservatives look beneath the surface for the true value of a man. Therein lies the connection.

The positions we take on issues are a reflection of our values. And our maturity.

It’s been my experience that the more mature — emotionally and intellectually — a person is, the more he sees the liberal agenda as a lie, and worse, dangerous to man.

The liberals’ positions on issues don’t foster the growth of an individual to maturity. They instead feed the selfishness of the immature. What may first appear to be gain, historically ends in failure.

The conservative asks the hard thing of a man. It asks that he stand on his own.

Ronald Reagan was one of the most mature men ever to have served in that high office. The present occupant of the White House is one of the least mature. The two are worlds apart in regard to their political positions.

Narcissism – love of self – is the product of an immature mind and heart.

Just as the Far Left agenda – for decades now – has been to attack and destroy America, it will attack and attempt to destroy those who defend her and expose her enemies.

Both Palin and Geller have been extraordinarily courageous defenders of our freedoms and our founding. They fearlessly speak the truth.

Therefore, they pose a real threat to the radical Left; this administration in particular.

Most of us know an enemy isn’t always limited to one or two, or of one persuasion or another, but may reveal itself to be great in number and from a variety of venues.

Just as one household might have an enemy from without, it is entirely likely to have one from within as well, working harm upon it.

There’s no pleasure in acknowledging what is evil. But there is much to be gained from acknowledging what is reality.

The life of the nation – or household – is dependent upon it.

Alright, I have an easy question. If Sarah Palin did not quit, what did she do? Is there a specific verb that applies here, of which I’m unaware?

There is a son who understood his father, Ronald Reagan, and recognized in Sarah Palin much of what he loved about his dad.

    http://realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/09/welcome_back_dad.html

Michael Reagan shared his dad’s values and knew him – as an adopted son – better than the one who shared his flesh.

There is something greater than flesh and blood that draws us to one another and holds us for a lifetime.

There are those who are much like an abusive husband and father who points the finger and blames the wife for leaving him. “You divorced me, did you not?!”

To the world, he will shout that his wife is the evil one. All the while, he hides what he has devised and perpetrated upon his children and their mother.

Like the biblical woman who chose to give up her son rather than have him split by Solomon’s sword, we’re often given difficult choices to make. Choices that don’t allow us the desires of our hearts, but ones we must make to blunt an evil and spare others the agony of that evil.

In both situations, there is a liar. In the end, the truth will be known – indeed, it is already known to the Most High – and the innocent will be rewarded.

I will agree that Pam is attractive. But how can anyone see her as winning her argument or giving Ron Reagan a spanking? Sarah Palin did quit during the middle of her governorship. There is no doubt about it. Also, it is just ridiculous to argue with someone that they dont know their father. Then label Ronald Reagan as not having a thought in his head. Ronald Reagan is the man EVERY Republican makes sure they bring up during any Presidential debate or when they want to show their conservative credentials or the man that they pay homage to. So why would you defame or insult Ronald Reagan? The two Republicans who Ronald Reagan would support or love would be Ron Paul and Mitt Romney in today’s playing field.
