ABC’s Jake Tapper nailed Obama’s mouthpiece Robert Gibbs yesterday after his latest episode of blame the Republicans. Tapper asks Gibbs, “Isn’t it time for the president to man up?”
FOX Nation reported:

Here’s the transcript via Freedom’s Lighthouse:

“But isn’t the whole point of being President and controlling the House and Senate to ‘man up’ and make these tough decisions whether or not it costs you at the ballot box in November?”

Tapper’s fooling himself if he thinks the narcissist in chief will ever stop pointing fingers and take responsibility for the mess he’s made with the economy. It aint gonna happen. Obama’s ego would never allow it.

Our Baghdad Bob is really amazing. When BB says in response to Tapper barb that Obama cannot vote in their programs unless they get help from the Republicans, Gibbsy replies: “no, no, no–we are not going to make progress unless we have signoff from the Republicans”.

Ok, so making progress DOESN’T mean implementing their policy????

Leftards refusal to actually speak English–instead of Orwellian double-speak–just proves how deluded and idiotic they really are.

Jake, as you are well aware of now, there are no real men in this current WH administration. They are entertainers, political animals and poll watchers. The American people are way, way down on their list of concerns, unless it comes to increasing their poll numbers.
Please, Jake, you have been one of the enablers all along, not as mesmerized as some but you don’t want to be taken out of this little game they are playing with the country.

While he’s manning-up he might take the opportunity to explain his budget and how it will impact everyone.

Gibbles shoulda told Tapper that Obama would have to check with Rahm “the Ballerina” Emanuel and get back to him.

I’m sure the “Tapper’s fooling himself” line is just a rhetorical excercise.

Tapper is asking because he has no illusions, bless his heart. He wants to make Gibbs squirm, which is his job.

It is also the job of everyone else in that room. With few exceptions, such as Major Garret, they ain’t doing it, because of their embarrssing ‘Tiger Beat’ journalism.

Tapper, no slouch, may see a glorious career unfolding, as the entire press organizations finally begin to blink their eyes in the sunshine and realize that he has been eating their lunch for a year, merely by doing the freekin’ basics of his job.

If gibbs idea of Obama “manning up” is killing the f-22 fighter plane. He is choosing the wrong way to prove it. Killing a warfighting machine doesn’t make the country stronger, especially now that Russia is fielding there Firefox stealth fighter.

Blaming Bush for all his problems is a sign of weakness, maybe someday he will accept responsiblity and be a man.

The Democrats don’t need the Republicans at this point to pass any bill, so they should just quit blaming the Republicans for their own in-fighting within their party. These people are pathetic.

On The View this Tuesday, the terrorist trials to be held in New York, as of this point, somehow became Bush’s fault, and not Obama’s. These people just can’t take blame for any decision they make.

You have to be a man first before you have any hope of ‘manning up’.

The only “tough decisions” they can make
is how to spend ever MORE of our money.

They ALL need to go, Democrats first.

Right on, Joanne. We’ve all met frauds like him in our daily lives. Behind the arrogance and mendacity, there’s just an empty suit.

It’s a shame that just at a time when this country needs to get serious about the unfunded liabilities created by 40 years of big-government liberalism, we elect a delusional economic illiterate who believes that stealing Americans’ wealth and handing it over to parasites and hangers-on is the way to transform the country into a better place. He’s Hugo Chavez with a teleprompter and some better clothes.

Obama in newspeak challenges the opposition (minority) party to cooperate with him so that he can pass his initiatives. In effect he asks Republicans to negotiate against themselves. Why should they? Doing so is bad tactics and betrays their principals.

Obama should focus on reality. He cannot get Congressional Democrats to support him. He is in deep caca that will get deeper by the day.

    Thank God for Jake!

He’s one of VERY few who will ask the tough questions and illicit the incredible gobbledygook that only Beltway Bob can spew.

I don’t honestly expect this President to EVER “man up” about anything. He’s a fraud.

As for blaming Bush for the trial problems; that’s total BS. “W” wouldn’t have closed Gitmo, wouldn’t have brought terrorists to the mainland and wouldn’t have allowed them to have criminal court trials. Period.

Obama About to Raise Taxes on 95% of All Americans

Reuters had pulled this story, by the way. I doubt it is inaccurate at all. I think they just got one of those famous calls from the press-is-against-me White House, and of course caved.

The next story, that they promise next week, will of course have all of Obama’s spin and talking points in it.

And yet the story lives on, on Yahoo.
