You just knew before this weekend was over that the mainstream media would insert itself into the story.

The presss conference was packed today at the National Tea Party Convention but not everyone acted like they were glad to be there.

The media elites could only sit on their hands for so long. After biting his lip for twenty minutes New York-based ABC reporter John Berman ripped into the National Tea Party Convention leaders at their press conference today. John was visibly upset after attending former Rep. Tom Tancredo’s speech last night at the conference. Instead of confronting Tancredo, Berman attacked the organizers of the event and demanded they speak for the former representative. Berman also attacked organizer Mark Skoda for not listing the names of the board members of a newly formed organization after Skoda said he would have the names listed by the end of the week… Funny, Berman’s never been this hard on Team Obama?

John Berman did not look happy to be there today:

He kept that scowl on his face for most of the meeting.

ABC ran a story last night about the Tea Party. They made sure to interview some dude that showed up in a kilt. Nothing like trying to make the movement look ridiculous on national television.

The news media is the enemy of America. Every time they grill conservatives and fail to even question liberals they are committing treason, because the unchecked advancement of liberalism is destroying the fabric of america..

There is nothing wrong with grilling conservatives, but you have to so the same to the other side. By failing to do this, the media acts as a willing and knowing conduit for partisan governmental power. In so doing, they are abusing the trust of the American people.

We don’t know what Palin is getting into with these Republican Rhino’s like McCain and Mitt Romney. The moderate Republicans are hurting the Republican conservatives. No; anyone who doesn’t agree w/ the administration and the DC insiders is not a “racist”.

Tom Tancredo did an INCREDIBLE job to help expose/tried to reverse the complete lack of border security during Pres. Bush’s term.

He was treated poorly by the intrenched GOP; to left wingers he is the devil. Those two facts, alone, should tell us all what a patriot he is.

I noticed CNN isn’t calling the Tea Partiers the vulgar homosexual term ‘teabaggers’ anymore.

I wonder, their viewership is down so much, congressional elections are coming, and they have no one to watch, to bias their minds against candidates of their choice, does that have anything to do with it? But their viewers and their family members watch ‘news’ elsewhere, where they are not called ‘teabaggers’….

    RobertNo Gravatar

The MSM is still a powerful entrenched institution. As long as we don’t have at least one of the original 3 broadcast outlets and a few major newspapers on our side we are at a severe disadvantage. Also, they can and do continue to put out their biased garbage and it does do harm to everything.

Just think. Rangel gets to continue on, and ACORN, and the Black Panthers, etc. Obama (by way of Gibbs) is challenged only by Jake Tapper at times. Any of the rest are doing so only for self-preservation and not because of any journalistic integrity.

The only MSM really challenging Obama are some of the columnists on the far left who are disappointed that we are not a bona-fide Communist dictatorship by now.

The liberal media is every bit the danger to the Republic that powerful liberal politicians are, if not more so. And, we need to expand and support efforts to correct that situation.

For those attending Tea Protests this year, a modest suggestion:

Bring a cheap video camera and interview the journalists present. Be courteous and friendly, this is key. No sense giving them extra B-roll of an angry protester, right?

Some questions that might be interesting:

Why did you become a journalist?
Whom did you vote for in the last election?
To which party are you registered?
Have you donated money to a candidate before?

I suspect you won’t be able to get a straight answer for all of them. I’d press them in a cheerfully annoying way.

If they want to ask questions they think will damage conservatives then we should turn the tables.

    3. Stimulus Bill $787 billion plus interest equals $850 billion democrat slush fund.

    5. Obama tripled 2009 spending from $467 billion to $1.4 trillion.

    9. Obama wants to freeze some 2011 spending for discretionary programs. This is around $13 billion. Not much of a spending freeze, just smoke and mirrors to hide spending increases and to confuse people. Obama is very good at that.
    10. The national debt is $12.3 trillion. Can our children and grandchildren repay it?
    11. Congress voted, December 24, 2009 to raise the debt ceiling to $12.4 trillion.
    12. Congress voted, January 28, 2010 to raise the debt ceiling $1.9 trillion to $14.3 trillion.

That WABC radio report last night did get me angry, but you have wisely reminded me that comeuppance is best served cold.

In the past, the MSM could denigrate the mean old conservatives and freedom-loving Americans just assumed the barbs were aimed at others — some archetypal luddite who probably deserved the abuse.

Now Americans can see it all too clearly: the MSM means to disparage them, their rights, and everything they value. A ruling class vs a rabble. Keep it up MSM: you are clarifying the issues more clearly than you realize.

Was Rahm Emmanuel feeding the questions to ABC Berman on his Blackberry? It really helps the President. Maybe Berman can set up a teleprompter.

Note to Rahm: Spell things phonetically! These guys are really stupid.

    “Kore – Man”

How do expect a community organizer who went through college on affirmative action to know hard words like Corpsman? Yeah, I agree, he SHOULD know about these heroes, but he is too in love with his own wonderfull-ness to look at the truly heroic things others.

WHERE WERE ALL OF THESE “CONCERNED” PEOPLE WHEN THE COUNTRY WAS BEING DESTROYED BY BUSH/CHENEY & THE REPUBLICANS? TAX CUTS FOR THE RICHEST 1%; LYING US INTO WAR (IRAQ DIDN’T ATTACK US ON 9-11); DESTROYING OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES (SPYING ON U.S. CITIZENS W/OUT WARRANTS); DESTROYING OUR STANDING IN THE WORLD; SENDING US TO THE BRINK OF A GREAT DEPRESSION (THAT OBAMA HAS HELPED PREVENT); ALLOWING NEO-CONS TO DICTATE FOREIGN POLICY (MORE WARS AND NATION BUILDING); THE APPOINTMENT OF ALLITO AND ROBERTS TO THE SUPREME COURT (NOW ALLOWING CORPORATIONS BUY POLITICIANS EVEN MORE THAN THEY ALREADY DO); 9-11 (YES, THIS HAPPENED ON G.W. BUSH’S WATCH), THE DISGUSTING RESPONSE TO HURRICANE KATRINA; OUTSOURCING THE PURSUIT OF BIN LADEN (BUSH HANDED THIS OVER TO THE AFGAN FIGHTERS); OUTSOURCING THE SECURITY FORCES IN IRAQ (ALLOWING BLACKWATER TO RAPE AND PILLAGE W/OUT OVERSIGHT); WAR PROFITEERING (HALIBURTON AND OTHERS-”WAR IS GOOD BUSINESS”); I COULD GO ON AND ON, BUT I’M JUST GETTING MAD THINKING ABOUT IT.
AS YOU CAN SEE, OBAMA INHERITED THIS MESS. SO IF YOU ARE A PART OF THE PROBLEM AND NOT THE SOLUTION, OR YOU VOTED TWICE FOR BUSH…….SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

Oh look, another wildly misinformed troll named Chris.

Please, please, please, send smarter trolls.

Oh, and Chris, using all-caps doesn’t make you seem smarter.

A local investigative reporter was doing a story on grocery store products and talked about StarKist tuna had reduced the size of the can and raised the price to the retail stores. How many people know that Starkist Tuna is owned by the husband of comrad polosi who got a favorable waver for union dealings for that company within the past few years. Guess how much that hurt us who are trying to stay off a beef diet.

Hey Chris, I bet you as much money as you like that under the “Bush” tax cuts that you got a cut, just like anyone who “pays” taxes.
i have bet all of my leftist people who I am around that I will lay $1000 on the table if I can examine their tax forms to prove they did not get a cut…and truthfully, I never got a taker. Quit sulking about the rich, and make your own way dude….Not everyone will be rich, does not mean that you don’t keep working toward betterment on one’s self.

ABC is a radical wing of the Dem Party. No news in that realization. Just remember that ABC has media cousins who are equally determined to bury most of us…hopefully just politically. Little CNN and MessyNBC are also in that harness pulling that cart full of Constitution lovers to the Dem Guillotine.

I have changed my disposition this week, even though I continue in the throes of resisting a third party movement with all my sanity; but Palin has a chance; and she’s making every effort to be consistent in her philosophy.

Obviously, these strange Obamists occupying the seat of government have critically bruised the old Republic. Since there’s no Ronald Reagan to assume the seemingly impossible
task of preserving freedom and the union, I’ll make an effort to take Palin seriously.
