OVER 2,000 TURNED OUT TONIGHT IN ST. LOUIS TO PROTEST BARACK OBAMA!
…….But, top Democrats Scattered!

WE WERE FIRED UP!

Bill Hennessy gave a great speech at the rally.

It was a huge turnout tonight in St. Louis. 2,000 to 2,500 turned out in St. Louis tonight to protest Obamacare.

UH OH: Instapundit reported: Some Democrats shun Obama event in St. Louis. “The Show Me State briefly became the No Show State on Wednesday as some prominent Missouri Democrats decided they’d rather be somewhere else when President Obama came to St. Louis to push his massive health care overhaul plan.” Probably just scared of the St. Louis Tea Party juggernaut.

People drove from as far away as Quincy, Illinois to make the rally. (We didn’t bus anyone in.)

There were a couple of hundred astroturfed HCAN and Obama supporters who showed up but they split early.

Kenneth Gladney came out tonight to join the protesters. That’s Stephanie Rubach in the background.

These Purple People Beaters were really just powder puffs.

It was loud and it was awesome! What a great turnout to let Barack Obama and Claire McCaskill know that we don’t want their socialism!

Protest Babes…

Thanks to StL Cyclist for a couple of these shots.

The St. Louis crowd came out in force. Bill Hennessy, Dana Loesch, Gina and John Loudon, Adam Sharp, Patch, Jon Burns, Jay Stewart, Robert B., 24th State, Spike, Stephanie Rubach, Ed, Brenda… It was a great event. It’s just too bad the top democrats decided to stay away. We wanted to greet them, too.

Sharp Elbows has more photos and video of a revolting leftist trying to start trouble at the protest.

Dana Loesch posted some great photos.

UPDATE: Keyboard Militia has more great photos from the huge anti-Obamacare rally including this one:

I was at the rally with my brother, his wife and my nephew who is a proud member of the US Coast Guard. Of course, I was packing. (my bullhorn)

It was AWESOME. I have been to most of the protests in the St. Louis area and this, by far, was the most impassioned group…the only problems were from “guess who”? The “other side” trying to stir up trouble. The police officers did a fine job. We outnumbered them tremendously.

The left looked lacklustered and shell shocked at how many people were protesting his visit. They looked dispirited…wonder where the buses were with the SEIU workers?

Good work people! It’s an honor to stand with you all!

Told ya’ll, WE OUTNUMBER THEM. They are a mile wide and an inch thick. Keep up the resitance. This is as our founders envisioned. WE the people will prevail. They DO FEAR US, they just have not let us smell the fear YET. It’s coming. DO NOT SUCCUMB to the pain that is coming with the ensuing collapse of the finacial system. This is the last ditch effort of the

Makes me proud to be from Missouri….even though I live in Kansas City, I was there with those wonderful St. Louis “Lovers of Freedom”. We have to keep this up and get the message to Washington, D.C. about the numbers that turned out. I’m sure Obama and company will just ignore the thousands who rallied…but I hope the Congress members get the message.

They’ll cover the GOP and Senate winning back Congress in November however.

I work downtown. I have Bible class on Wednesday night or I would have been there with you guys.

Anyway I saw the supporters and the one thing I thought is so ignorant were the signs that said:

    “HEALTH CARE NOW!”

To be more accurate it should read:

“HIGHER TAXES AND PREMIUMS STARTING NOW…..
HEALTH CARE 4 YEARS FROM NOW!”

These people seem to be irrational. What they want is a single payer cradle to grave health care benefit that the rich will pay for.

Sorry folks this ain’t Utopia and it never will be.

You would be screaming to high heaven if you paid for auto insurance OR health insurance for three years and never made a claim then needed to put in a claim and your agent said sorry but you can’t put in a claim until after next year.

That my friend is this Health Care Bill!

-just looked- not a WORD about the downtown protest on the:

St Louis Post Disgrace web site, or on ANY of the local TV and radio web sites!.

A couple of years ago, when 4 code pinkers would scream outside the venue where Bush was speaking (or ONE Cindy Sheehan)- OR a bus carrying fewer than TEN Acorn workers, on the way to protest at the HOMES of AIG executives we couldn’t KEEP the media from playing it on a 24hr loop for DAYS!!!

I noticed on the news today that these liberals are crazy! It was humorous to notice the majority of the people who were extremely excited about the new health care plan were middle aged men who looked as if they were smoking marijuana all day in their parents’ basement, who haven’t accomplished anything in their entire life, and this will be an excellent way for them to freely go to the doctor and complain about their “lower back” problems in order to receive their prescription drugs they have been illegally paying for five dollars a pill from their neighbor.

Also, these liberals are so feeble minded to think passing this new health care plan will nourish this economy. When the government attains more taxes from everyone, then the economy falls, due to the lack of money the individual has. If we would just simply lower taxes until our country gets back on our feet, it would be elementary for everybody.

This country is becoming communist as we speak, and so many people are blank to this fact. The lugubrious thing about all of this is, I am only twenty years of age and I can comprehend this. In my opinion, President Obama is completely and utterly addicted to power. I noticed him getting turned on, as he exclaimed this new health care plan would proceed. Some of you may be deranged at my comment, but in the next couple years as you notice this recession keep down falling, maybe I will say “I told you so.”

Truly, a patriotic protest against the tyranny of not dying from cancer because a faceless health-insurance bureaucrat (who are sprinkled with free-market fairy dust, thus making them better than other bureaucrats) decided that you didn’t fit properly into their corporation’s revenue scheme for the year, and retroactively revoked your benefits, driving you into personal bankruptcy.

I do understand what Communism is. In fact, I have spent a good deal of time discussing the matter with actual Communists. Feel free to read the thread:

    http://kasamaproject.org/2010/03/02/video-kasamas-jed-brandt-attacked-by-glenn-beck/

You see, Communism is selling an unrealistic solution to manufactured problems (oppression, poverty and lack of health care). Much like the prior Soviet Union, Communism begins with brainwashing propaganda and prepares citizens for the surrender of their freedoms in exchange for false protections. If you support Communism you are weak in mind. Just sayin’…

I’m so humbled to stand among you.

Hope is definitely making a comeback.

I live down state south of Cape and receive my local news from KFVS-12 out of Cape.I waited for the crowd count to be mentioned on all the news broadcasts and every time the Obama event was mentioned the announcer who was there at the rally would say a hand full of people showed up.They would cut to a scene of a street with maybe 5 or 6 people holding signs.I am baffled by this not accurately reporting the news as Cape is a very Republican town. But then again the local affiliate is CBS so I guess that explains it.
