Prevention. It’s one of the two best ways to control costs. That, and rationing. Because, well, if people don’t stick to their diet and go ahead and get diabetes, then they really shouldn’t expect the rest of us to pay for their insulin, should they? Plus, some diabetics are really old and just aren’t adding that much value any more. So, should we give some parasite on the State their insulin, or should we pay for medicine for a poor child in the ghetto who still has a future? It’s very, very exciting!
