Racist Dale Robertson was asked to leave the Houston Tea Party last year when he showed up with this sign.

Robertson carried this “n*gg*r” sign at a Texas tea party in March of 2009 and was asked to leave… But he won’t go away.
Andrew Ian Dodge wrote about the Robertson problem at Pajamas Media:

Dale is very much not a hero to those who first encountered him in February of last year. He has been described as a fake, a con artist, and worse by frustrated tea party groups across the land. Houston’s, in particular, is so upset at being associated with the man that they sent out the following press release:

1. He is NOT a member of our Leadership team.

2. He owns a website with which we have never been affiliated.

3. He has never been a part of organizing any of the Tea Party rallies in the Houston area, or any other area that we can find.

4. We addressed some issues involving him back in April. Here it is on our website, where Mr. Robertson himself comments: http://houstontps.org/?p=318

5. We do not choose to associate with people that use his type of disgusting language.

Robertson and his publicist encourage the MSM to consider it a mere squabble between various factions involved in the tea party movement. But quick research on the internet shows that no one in the actual tea party movement wants anything to do with the man.

Needless to say, left-wing sites have been repeatedly drawing attention to him as an example of racism in the tea party.

Even Mother Jones reported in January that Dale Robertson is not and never was a tea party leader and that the mainstream media had “lost its edge” in linking Robertson to the movement.

But, that didn’t stop liberal media hacks from repeating the lie that Robertson was a leader in the Tea Party movement.

On February 12, TPM Muckraker used this racist Texan again to smear the tea party movement.

But, there’s more…
Last month Jonn Lilyea at This Ain’t Hell investigated Robertson’s military record and guess what he found out?
…He lied about his service, too.

This is from Robertson’s webpage:

Initially Dale served his nation first as a U.S. Marine. After completing his duties with the Corps, he reenlisted into the U.S. Navy and became a U.S. Naval Officer. During his distinguished time of service, Dale’s Battle Group was first to the scene on 9/11 as well as first to launch an offensive in Afghanistan. He was stationed on the USS Sacramento which was the life blood of the Battle Group. He faithfully served our nation with Honor and Integrity, retiring after 22 years.

But, it’s not true.
His official record says Robertson was in the Marine Reserves and got booted after less than a year.

Figures. So what are the odds that the state-run media ignores this, too?

UPDATE: This Ain’t Hell made a correction to this story. Robertson served as an officer in the Navy.

GP, as I told you before, the photo of Robertson in uniform is the standard “I’m in boot camp” photo that is taken. He has no service medals or ribbons and hell, if he just managed to get through boot camp he would have had a few.

The guy is as phony as a three dollar bill.

The MSM is having a love/hate relationship with the Tea Party Movement. After ignoring, then denigrating it, they are now engaged in a two-way propaganda scheme:

1-The Tea “baggers” have worked the country up into a lather against Obama, caused a loon to fly a plane into the IRS, they are responsible for ratcheting up the angst in America, etc.

    AND

2-Obama and Pelosi both try to identify with the Tea Party Movement because they are for change. They understand why Americans are upset…they want healthcare and don’t trust Republicans.

These are summaries of the nonsense the MSM puts out. I’ve seen effigies of Pelosi at Tea Parties, mostly riding on a broomstick. People in the Tea Party Movement are 100% against any policy that she and Obama support.

Thanks GP for this report. I was at the Houston Tea Party in March ’09 and did not see this clown. There was a LOT of people there. I took three friends who like me are also minorities. We found the event to be very encouraging but most importantly, DIVERSE. As the son and family member of honorable soldiers I would have to admit that, i may have kicked this clowns ass if i had seen him.

I support the Tea Party movement and, I AM A MINORITY.

As someone who was actually an active duty Marine, and a Beirut veteran, I am enraged that someone as vile as Dale Robertson would claim to have earned the right to wear the Eagle, Globe and Anchor in an honorable fashion. It does not surprise me that it appears he only spent a year in the reserves!

A Marine does not see color. The only color we have is green. The Marine by your side is trusting you with his life, and you had better trust him with your’s if you are planning to get home alive!

Why the media will trust these phoney “hero’s” is beyond me. I wish it were a crime to claim military service in any of the proud services of this Country for personal grandisement!

As far as I am concerned, pukes like Robertson are lower than whale dung, and that is at the bottom of the ocean. Don’t believe me, ask one of Parris Island’s friendly Drill Instructors!

What I want to know, and I think is completely within the bounds of inquiry, is what he’s doing with the funds he’s so shamelessly soliciting on his website?

Bernie Madoff’s in jail, Robertson, and if you ask this service brat, that’s exactly where you belong as well.

Dale Robertson also defends the illegal invaders and sides with them. When confronted and asked at the February 2009 Houston Tea Party, after he handed us some of his literature promoting “his” political Tea Party, he would not state he supports the Constitution and the federal government’s responsibility to defend the border when he was questioned. I, and another friend of mine, threw the literature back at him and told him he was a Traitor.

As a 10 year, OIF/OEF Veteran of the US Navy, this guy just enrages me. I hate him more because he claims to be from Texas! I was in D.C. on 9/11. He wasn’t. He wasn’t even worthy to wear a uniform. The Navy was one of the first to launch strikes against Iraq, NOT Afghanistan. AF is not even close enough to a large body of water for Naval ships to have been effective. This Delta-Bravo can’t even get his shiite straight. We all need to go hunt him down and teach him what it means to be a Veteran.

It is a federal crime, punishable under staute, to falsely wear medals given for valor, and for wounds received in battle. That there are hundreds of these fake hero creeps in the population disgusts me, because they dishonor the men and women who earned them, and such men bring dishonor to their countrymen, who are disposed to believe that the medals are earned by those we see wearing them.

If that is the case for this Robertson person, I should like to see him prosecuted. Actually, I would like something more violent, but federal prosecution would salve my bruised sensibilities on the matter.
