REMEMBER: You Can NEVER Trust a Democrat… You can sometimes trust Republicans but… You Can NEVER Trust a Democrat.

Stupak flashback: Remember when “pro-life” fraudster Bart Stupak held his town hall last year and said that he’d vote for Obamacare even if it funded abortion? Of course, at the time he didn’t know he was being recorded.

“If everything I want [is] in the final bill, I like everything in the bill except you have public funding for abortion, and we had a chance to run our amendment and we lost. OK, I voted my conscience, stayed true to my principles, stayed true to the beliefs of this district, could I vote for healthcare? Yes I still could.”

Today Democrat Bart Stupak came back home.
The supposed pro-life Democrat will support pro-abortion Obamacare.
Ma Pelosi needed him and he was there.

    MSNBC was premature.

    Stupak has reiterated that he is still a “NO”, that he has 8 in his bloc, and that the Executive Order deal is still a “work in progress”.

    Of course, that he is even entertaining such a “deal” speaks volumes…

    If Stupak votes YES, it will cement in the minds of every voter that Democrats have no principles no matter what they say publicly. They will all be branded as liars and scoundrels, and they will lose the entire Independent vote in the next several election cyclesw. What is hidden in this bill that is so important to Democrats (no need to use the redundant term “Liberal” when speaking of Democrats, they are ALL Liberals) that they are willing to destroy their Party for the foreseeable future?

    Exasperated, you are wrong. WE follow the Reagan axiom: Trust but VERIFY. If the object of that trust proves untrustworthy, he forfeits any future trust from us and will suffer the consequences. In a civilized society, that is the glue that holds us together, and the antidote to anarchy and tyranny. We vote our political opponents out of office, unlike Obama’s heros Marx and Castro and Chavez and “I’m-in-a-Jihad”, who take them out and shoot them.

    Unless we keep fighting with all we’ve got AND get those under 60 involved as well–they will be able to get the “folks” to forget what has happened here by November.     Question: I recall hearing that the Senate bill has language included that makes it impossible to subsequently repeal. Is this true? If so, what recourse do we have.

    wow #33, there is no such thing as an “unrepealable law”. No Congress can bind a future Congress from repealing a law. Even the Constitution can be amended. The Democrats don’t understand or care about the Constitution, but our founders did and understood scoundrels like those temporarily in control today would someday come along. Clearly our founders were smarter than Pelosi and Reed and Obama and the lemmings they are herding over the cliff.

    I would still recommend leaving the cork in the Vitriol bottle until after the vote. Even the minor league scoundrels may be having second thoughts, and our tone may push them one way of the other…like trying to talk a jumper back in off the ledge. If they vote to “jump”, at least they won’t be able to say we were so mean and disrespectful that we forced them to do it. I’m not saying don’t make it clear to them that their YES vote means political suicide, but don’t keep kicking them so hard they give up any hope of redeeming themselves and make this their last hurrah.

    Thanks. I found it hard to believe that something like that could be possible. That would be tantamount to taking over the government and declaring this a dictatorship, but there have been so many “differing” opinions and so many saying that our goose is in effect cooked, that I began to doubt. You cleared up that doubt. As long as there are decent people in this world, good will eventually prevail, even if it takes time. I too do not think that people cannot redeem themselves Let’s see who has a conscience and who doesn’t. This entire nightmare has been a lesson to us to never again be complacent.

    Read this and stiffen your spines:

    The Democrats cannot do this. Sure, they may get the votes to pass the Senate bill tonight, but ultimately they will be defeated. A representative democracy cannot long endure a political class that is so out of touch with the populace. In some respects, what happens tonight is almost beside the point. The politics are set. Some Democrats are deluding themselves that they can put this behind them and somehow survive in November. They are most assuredly wrong…

    And off a cliff is exactly where the Democrat party is going. In 1994, the party lost 54 seats in the House, losing control for the first time in 40 years. 54 seats is my opening bid for November 2010. They will lose that amount if ObamaCare somehow fails tonight. If it passes, their losses will be much worse in the House (hell, I’d take odds on a 100 seat loss) and they likely will lose the Senate as well. Worse for the parties future, they will be decimated in state house races, which is critical to the future of they party. The winners of these races will draw new legislative districts next year. A GOP rout in statehouses could doom the Democrats for a decade.

    That is one reason I left the Democratic Party because they are favored of the abortion’s right. I am a pro life and joined the Republican Party in 1997. I don’t trust the Democratic Party anymore because they are telling so many lies. If Mr. Stupak does vote yes on this health care plan–he will lose the election in November. The Democratic Congress will lose the election this year because of the job stimulus bill. Obama and the Democratic Congress has really put all the Americans out of work. The job stimulus bill doesn’t work.

Still can’t believe he trusts President Obama….does anyone think he will double-cross Stupak in the end and not actually sign an Executive Order? I wouldn’t put it past him.     And if they vote for the Senate Bill, President Obama will immediately sign it, but what if the reconciliation bill doesn’t get approved or gets slowed down by Republican amendments for months? Then what? All of the bribes in the Senate deal become the law of the land.

    Definitions:
    A one party state means one party to the telephone conversation has to have knowledge and give consent. In a two party state, all parties must have knowledge and give consent.

    A NOTE ON FEDERAL LAW
    It would appear that, if a telephone conversation crossed state lines, federal law would have jurisdiction…even MORE stringent rules apply.

    Neither Gingrich NOR anyone else who were PARTIES to the telephone conversation were knowledgeable that it was being recorded, so go suck wind.

    Don’t wait until November to vote them out! Donate to their primary opponents. And if YOUR congressman/senator supported this outrage, change your registration now to Democrat so you can vote against them in the primaries. If they win anyway, you can then vote against them again in the general.
