Barack Obama told Bret Baier that he approved of the Louisiana Purchase. He also said it applied to all states that experienced a natural disaster.
Not true.

Barack Obama told Brett Baier tonight that he supports the crooked $300 million “Louisiana Purchase” in his nationalized health care plan.
FOX News posted the transcript:
BAIER: Do you know which specific deals are in or out, as of today?

OBAMA: I am certain that we’ve made sure, for example, that any burdens on states are alleviated, when it comes to what they’re going to have to chip in to make sure that we’re giving subsidies to small businesses, and subsidies to individuals, for example.

BAIER: So the Connecticut deal is still in?

OBAMA: So that’s not — that’s not going to be something that is going to be in this final package. I think the same is true on all of these provisions. I’ll give you some exceptions though.

Something that was called a special deal was for Louisiana. It was said that there were billions — millions of dollars going to Louisiana, this was a special deal. Well, in fact, that provision, which I think should remain in, said that if a state has been affected by a natural catastrophe, that has created a special health care emergency in that state, they should get help. Louisiana, obviously, went through Katrina, and they’re still trying to deal with the enormous challenges that were faced because of that.

(CROSS TALK)

OBAMA: That also — I’m giving you an example of one that I consider important. It also affects Hawaii, which went through an earthquake. So that’s not just a Louisiana provision. That is a provision that affects every state that is going through a natural catastrophe.

Now I have said that there are certain provisions, like this Nebraska one, that don’t make sense. And they needed to be out. And we have removed those. So, at the end of the day, what people are going to be able to say is that this legislation is going to be providing help to small businesses and individuals, across the board, in an even handed way, and providing people relief from a status quo that’s just not working.

But, this was not true. ‘The Louisiana Purchase’ was not written for any state that is going through a natural catastrophe. ‘The Louisiana Purchase’ was written specifically for Louisiana.
Charles Krauthammer explained this earlier:

“You asked what [Sen.] Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas will ask for,” Krauthammer said. “Well, after watching Louisiana get $100 million in what have some have called ‘The Louisiana Purchase,’ she ought to ask for $500 million at least. And that’s because Obama said he would end business as usual in Washington. If you look at the sections, it is 2006 in which the Louisiana money, it looks as if it is provision for all states which have had a proclamation of a disaster area in the last seven years, and then the fine print inside eliminates all the others except Louisiana. So it’s a new kind of business as usual. I think that Steve [Hayes] is right. There is almost no way imaginable that the vote will fail tomorrow. If it is, it is the ultimate humiliation. It’s the rejection of the debate even before it starts.”

Obama also said the “Cornhusker Kickback” was taken out of the legislation. Really?

Oh my… Bret Baier just body-slammed Obama.

Barack Obama says he will support the criminal “deem and pass” vote in the House.

Obama says Washington is concerned about this but Americans are not so much worried about process.

Bret Baier is nailed Obama with all of the tricks, deceit, backroom deals, lies, etc. with Obamacare.

Obama says most people outside of Washington don’t pay much attention to procedural rules.

FOX News reported:

“I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or Senate,” Obama said. “What I can tell you is that the vote that’s taken in the House will be a vote for health care reform. And if people vote yes, whatever form that takes, that is going to be a vote for health care reform. And I don’t think we should pretend otherwise. And if they don’t, if they vote against it, then they’re going to be voting against health care reform and they’re going to be voting in favor of the status quo.

So Washington gets very concerned with these procedures in Congress, whether Republicans are in charge or Democrats are in charge,” he said.

The full transcript is posted here.

Obama just approved the Louisiana Purchase!

Obama says it affects every state that goes through a natural disaster. (You lie!)

Florida deal?

Obama: Won’t say.

Baier: I know you don’t want to talk about process but there are a lot of questions here about process….

Obama: The bill will be posted about so people will know what is in it.

Baier: But this is one-sixth of the American economy?

Obama: But most people will not be affected by this (lie!)

Obama: Yes it’s one-sixth of the economy. We are saying we should have protections from insurance company abuses. This notion that this has not been transparent (lie).

Baier: Connecticut? $100 million

Obama: The final provisions will be posted.

** This is the best interview so far that any reporter has had with Obama.

Baier: This proposal makes Medicare stronger. But, CEO says $500 billion will not be spent in Medicare. Where is this being spent?

Obama: Most of those savings go back to help seniors (lie). Each year we’re spending less on Medicare overall.

Baier: Your guys says this will not help Medicare.

Obama: This will not help Medicare.

Baier Is Killing Him! No more FOX interviews!

Baier: You call this deficit neutral?

Obama: The doctor’s fix has nothing to do with my health care bill. Let me finish.

Obama: I came in when we had the toughest challenges since the Great Depression (lie)

We’re doing a whole bunch of things on this economy.

Baier: To finish up… Do you think this pile of crap will pass:

Obama: I do. I know these things might not be popular but over time it will be seen as the right thing to do.

More… Stephen Hayes and A. B. Stoddard on the FOX News All-Star Panel agreed— Obama was more defensive than they’ve ever seen him. Juan Williams, “I thought he was stammering at times.” It was a horrible interview for President Obama.

Idaho became the first state today to sign into a law legislation against Obamacare.
Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states.
The AP reported:

Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter on Wednesday became the first state chief executive to sign a measure requiring his attorney general to sue Congress if it passes health reforms that force residents to buy insurance. Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states nationwide.

Constitutional law experts say the move is mostly symbolic because federal laws supersede those of the states. But the movement reflects a growing national frustration with President President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul.

Democrats are hoping to pass a version of the reform by this weekend.

Last week, Virginia legislators passed a measure similar to Idaho’s new law, but Otter was the first state chief executive to sign such a bill, according the American Legislative Exchange Council, which created model legislation for Idaho and other states. The Washington, D.C.,-based nonprofit group promotes limited government.

They don’t have enough votes to not vote on it.

House Democrats want Obama to delay his trip to Quam, Indonesia and Australia again.
He originally was set to leave on Friday… Now it’s Sunday… And, they want him to be here if a vote is held next week.
The Politico reported:

The White House has been bringing its A game to the final push to pass health care reform – and some House Democrats are so pleased with the shift they want President Barack Obama to postpone his planned Asia trip again if a deal isn’t sealed before his newly announced departure on Sunday.

Several House members interviewed by POLITICO said Obama’s looming trip to Australia, Indonesia and Guam, while creating a natural deadline for 11th-hour health care talks, is once again becoming a problem as he tries to sell reluctant members of his own party on the reform legislation.

Last week, the president pushed back his planned Friday departure three days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats groused he was leaving at a critical time.

“For the first time in eight months, the president is finally getting his hands dirty, and now he’s going to hop on the plane? Please,” said a Democratic congressman, requesting anonymity.

“These deadlines are sort of silly,” the member added. “Remember the first one? March 18th? That was sort of like putting a calendar on [White House chief of staff] Rahm’s [Emanuel’s] back and inviting members to throw darts at him.”

Another Democrat told POLITICO bluntly, “This trip is really getting in the way of things.”

Keep the pressure on… Call Congress.

Barack Obama told FOX News today that he was not worried about using the unconstitutional and unprecedented “deem and pass” trick to ram Obamacare through Congress without voting on it.

FOX News posted a preview:

FOX News reported:

President Obama is not worried about the “procedural” debate over whether House Democratic leaders should go ahead with a plan to approve health care reform without a traditional vote, he told Fox News on Wednesday.

The president, in an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, was responding for the first time to the controversy over a plan to use a parliamentary trick to allow the House to pass the Senate’s health care bill without forcing members to vote for it directly. The esoteric procedure has drawn fierce protest from Republicans who say Democrats are trying to avoid accountability, but the president said there will be no doubt about where lawmakers stand on health care reform.

This is criminal.
If Obama allows this to happen, in the words of Bill O’Reilly, “He is done.”

Landmark Legal Foundation will file suit to stop Obamacare if the deem and pass is used.

It’s beyond sleazy.
A new poll shows that Obamacare is very unpopular with the majority of Americans.
Pajamas Media reported:

Today, the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest Advance (CMPI-A), in partnership with Pajamas Media, is releasing national survey data on Americans’ views of the proposed health care reform legislation before Congress…

The CMPI-A/PJM poll demonstrates an extremely high level of concern with the current bill:

· Six in ten Americans (60%) agree that a current Democrat proposal to send the Senate health care bill to the president without voting up or down on it is “unfair.”

· Most Americans oppose (81%) health care reforms that would increase insurance premiums for healthy people to offset premiums of people who wait until they are diagnosed with an illness to purchase insurance.

· Eight Americans in ten (81%) oppose allowing the government to decide what kind of health care coverage Americans are able to purchase.

· Most Americans (87%) oppose having a government panel recommend or decide what medical procedures or medical advances your doctor or health plan can or cannot use.

· More than eight Americans in ten (84%) support reforms that would allow people to buy health insurance where it is the least expensive, such as across state lines.

· Three in four Americans (76%) oppose health care reforms that would raise taxes and cut Medicare benefits to pay for health care subsidies for expanded coverage for those currently insured.

UPDATE: Another poll finds nearly half the nation’s physicians would consider quitting if the bill becomes law. The New England Journal of Medicine survey indicates 46 percent of doctors would consider leaving their practice.

“When an anti-Semitic president takes office in America – that is our test to say, ‘We won’t give up’.” –Hagai Ben-Artzi

Obama and his mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s brother in-law callled Obama an anti-Semite on Wednesday. Hagai Ben-Artzi explained that for 20 years Obama sat with Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who is anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli, and anti-Jewish.
YNet News reported, via Free Republic:

Hagai Ben-Artzi, the prime minister’s brother-in-law, called US President Barack Obama an anti-Semite in a radio interview Wednesday.

“When an anti-Semitic president takes office in America – that is our test to say, ‘We won’t give up’,” he told Israel Army Radio.

Ben-Artzi responded to US criticism of the construction in east Jerusalem and said Benjamin Netanyahu should learn from previous prime ministers. “Once the Americans tried to intervene in anything related to Jerusalem we told them one simple word: No,” he said.

“Jerusalem is the Israeli people’s capital and the capital of the State of Israel, and it is whole and united. For the first time in 2,000 years Jews can come freely to the Western Wall and the holy sites, and we will not concede even a millimeter. If you want to make a crisis over this, fine. This is not just Benjamin Netanyahu’s guiding principle, but rather that of the seven prime ministers who came before him.”

Ben-Artzi went on to explain why Obama disliked Israel. “Not only does he dislike the prime minister, he dislikes the people of Israel. For 20 years Obama sat with Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who is anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli, and anti-Jewish,” he said.

Netanyahu’s brother-in-law added that it was clear Obama agreed with Wright because he had remained in his congregation. “Think about it. If you had heard of someone who for 20 years sat in church and heard anti-Semitic sermons and didn’t get up to leave after two weeks, wouldn’t you think he identifies with it? As a politician running for presidency he had to hide it, but it comes out every time and I think we just have to say it plainly: There is an anti-Semitic president in America,” he said.

“Unfortunately this creates a difficult situation for Israel, but we will never give up our deepest interests – Jerusalem and our ties with it.”

Just last June, Wright said, “Them Jews aren’t going to let him (Obama) talk to me.”

Obama told a group of supporterson Monday that with Obamacare their premiums will decrease by 3,000%.
They actually clapped and screamed when he pushed this ridiculous figure:

But, of course, this was not true. It wasn’t even close. In fact, even the AP wasn’t buying it, via Sweetness and Light:

Buyers, beware: President Barack Obama says his health care overhaul will lower premiums by double digits, but check the fine print.

Premiums are likely to keep going up even if the health care bill passes, experts say. If cost controls work as advertised, annual increases would level off with time. But don’t look for a rollback. Instead, the main reason premiums would be more affordable is that new government tax credits would help cover the cost for millions of people.

Listening to Obama pitch his plan, you might not realize that’s how it works.

This is another good reminder that Obama and democrats will say and do anything to get their horrid bill passed.

More… Major Kong is beside himself:

Well that’s not good news. I just applied for a Community Reinvestment Act loan to be provided by Fannie Mae, in which I listed as assets the huge savings I was to realize through the 3,000% reduction in my medical insurance premium. Now I may not get the loan. And if I don’t get the loan what hope do I have of getting bailed out when I can’t make loan payments?

What to do? What to do?

After Ayatollah Khamenei urged Iranians to shun the “Un-Islamic” Night of Fire Festivities… They torched him.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday urged Iranians to shun the Persian fire festival as an un-Islamic event which causes “a lot of harm.”

But instead, close to 1,000 Iranians torched his image in Azadi Square.

Planet Iran reported that several protests broke out across Iran. Security guards were overpowered on Geesha Bridge in Tehran. Young Iranians at Vali Asr area of Tehran threw firecrackers at security guards. Several more protests were reported.

IT IS A SHAME THE WHITE HOUSE HAS NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE AND INCITEMENT–
Instead, they continue to lash out at Israel.

This came in the email from Barbara. Her friend is traveling in Israel this week:

One marked point I noticed was the intolerance of the Muslims in Nazareth… their banners boldly proclaiming that Allah is God and that he has no “begotten son” across the Church of the Annunciation there. If we dared to state that Jesus was the last prophet from God near a Mosque there would be WW III. It’s so biased. I am glad that I can see first hand how small the nation of Israel is, the land mines the Syrians planted in the Golan (Our guide is a Jewish lady from Russia that shared how a child recently had his foot blown off from the mines the Syrians had planted there.)

Nazareth is the capital and largest city in the North District of Israel. Known as “the Arab capital of Israel,” the population is made up predominantly of Arab citizens of Israel.

11 VOTES SHORT FROM KILLING THE BILL!
Say Your Prayers— Make Your Calls—
Here’s the Contact List.

Don’t let up now!

We are 11 votes short from killing nationalized health care!
CNN reported:

Five more House Democrats said Tuesday that they will vote against Senate health care legislation, which puts opponents of reform just 11 votes shy of the 216 needed to prevent President Obama from scoring a major victory on his top domestic priority.

An ongoing CNN analysis shows that opposition in the House to the Senate health care plan has reached 205 members.

A total of 27 House Democrats, including nine who supported the House plan in November, have indicated that they would join a unified Republican caucus in opposing the Senate plan, which passed in that chamber December 24 with the minimum required 60 votes.

Nonetheless, House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson of Connecticut said Monday after a meeting with rank-and-file Democrats that “the votes are there” to pass the health care bill.

Among at least 27 Democrats who will vote against the bill is Rep. Mike McIntyre of North Carolina, who confirmed his opposition Monday.

Rep. Paul Ryan told Greta Van Susteren last night that Repubicans still believe democrats are 10 votes shy from passing Obamacare.

Related… On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show: Mark announced that the Landmark Legal Foundation and he are prepared to fight this health care bill if it is passed via the Slaughter rule. They will challenge the constitutionality of the bill because you cannot have a law that is not voted on by Congress – as explicitly said in the Constitution. No previous Congress has ever said that it’s passed a bill when it hasn’t.

Attorney General Eric Holder told a House Committee today that Osama Bin Laden deserves the same rights as Charles Manson.
Rep. John Culberson (R-TX) rips Obama’s radical Attorney General:

Fox News, via BreitbartTV: [Attorney General Eric Holder] said the “apt” comparison is to mass murderers like Charles Manson, who is currently serving a life sentence for orchestrating a killing spree in the 1960s. Trying to explain the analogy, Holder said mass murderers like Manson still reserve the right to go before a jury and have the charges against them proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

More… Holder also defended the FBI’s handling of Christmas Day undie bomber Omar Abdulmutallab:

“I’ve heard a lot said that he was only questioned for 50 minutes. That’s a fairly long period of time,” Holder said.

What’s scary is that this kook is serious.

Last week it was revealed that AG Holder failed to reveal 7 legal briefs during his confirmation proceedings.

Bill O’Reilly spoke out against the Slaughter Rule today:
“If democrats don’t do an up or down vote, President Obama is done.”

Bill O’Reilly on democrats ramming Obamacare through the House using the Slaughter Rule:

The outcry in this country would be so enormous, the anger so intense that it would pretty much doom the Obama Administration…

…If they don’t do an up or down vote, President Obama is done. His whole term is done. Whether it passes or fails it doesn’t matter. If they try to sneak it around the back door by some kind of parliamentary procedure nobody’s ever heard of… I want an up or down vote and I don’t really care. 95% of Americans do as well. If they do this it’s the end of the Obama Administration. It’s over.
